Not as memorable as the first one storywise, but funnier, which is what audiences want anyway (more Minions! More laughs!). The plot is very simple (is a children's movie, remember?) and follows ex-evil genius Gru being recruited as a double agent to discover the plans of the mysterious evil master, El Macho. It doesn't make sense the title is 'Despicable Me' again, when Gru is 100% a good guy here and nothing is despicable about him. But we came here because of the adorable crazy minions who talk in some undeciferable language. And they deliver. Oh boy, do they deliver!:l2: Up to the last song (a Minion version of 'I Swear' by All-4-One) and closing credits. We demand an all Minions solo movie!!!8/10
