really? i kinda thought it was just a movie to give only jewish actors a payday :dunno: i'll check it out then :bears:
Was that a review?:scratcher: THIS is a review... This Is The End 2013 American comedy starring Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride & Craig Robinson among a bunch of other actors all playing themselves while at a party at Franco's house when suddenly the apocalypse occurs. The film has some genuine laughs here and there, particularly when celebrities were meeting their doom, but what the film has is mostly crude humour and almost non-stop profanity passing as jokes. Fans of toilet humour will enjoy this one while those of us who are turned off by that type of comedy approach will be less than amused. The most redeeming quality of the film in its misguided concept of Judgment Day and Heaven is that truly selfless acts of kindness and sacrifice towards others can bring redemption. If your idea of a happy ending is a mob dance lead by the Backstreet Boys, you'll have a blast with this one. Is okay, but could have been better though. 7/10
I watched about half of it so far and it is good but I liked it better when they were just doing the pub crawl thing, before the robots or w/e got involved. I think a good movie could have been made about just the pub crawl.
I found the whole thing hilarious. Cera the aggressive cokehead :: And another great performace from McBride
After turning off Pain and Gain after only 30-40 minutes of watching I put this film on. Stopped it after only about 10 minutes.
Watched this last weekend, this movie was not even funny...there were a couple times I chuckled but overall...I think it blew
"The Watch" is much better..also has Jonah Hill and some other jews...yet has a much lower imdb rating :dunno:
