Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story

Watched this made for tv (VH-1) movie last night with my children who had never heard of this music trio. Entertaining film which had all their facts accurate since the two surviving members participated in the movie (the final scenes). From humble beginnings to superstardom to tragic climax the actresses in this film did a superb job. The film has a good pace and develop the characters well. My only complain is that the actress playing Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopez wasn't as pretty as the original, but she did captured her crazy, troubled spirit. Since the film is from the point of view from the girls, their manager/promoter and also successful singer, Pebbles, comes across as this greedy, manipulative, cruel bitch (which many people claim she is anyway). The commercial breaks were truly annoying. Catch this film when it comes out on DVD for better viewing experience.
