A very good movie, directed by Christopher Nolan. Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman were brilliant in their roles. The movie didn't interest me in the beginning, but the high rating on IMDB convinced me to watch this movie.

Very good film with a brilliant plot. Too bad it had a showdown with a similar film, 'The Illusionist' and they sort of cancelled each other at the box office.

    *SPOILER ALERT*

I find the ending of the movie horrifying. Hugh Jackman must have killed hundreds of versions of himself. Why didn't he make just one copy of himself? The two of them would have been enough to do the transported man trick.

I've always considered The Prestige to be one of the best movies of the 00's. It's a better movie than MANY movies that have won for best picture.

Bale, Caine, and Jackman were ALL brilliant in it.

    10/10 movie.
