    I know, weird title

Instances in which a fighter was frozen in place by a punch... He doesn't necessarily have to go on to lose the fight, he may somehow have survived, though most examples will probably be followed by a KO loss... And I don't mean mildly stunned or buzzed, I mean the guy at least momentarily is completely out of it

    Some examples

Carlos Monzon (Bennie Briscoe... Monzon somehow survived and won a decision)

Lottie Mwale (Eddie Mustafa Muhammad... stood still grabbing his mouth adjusting a nonexistent mouthpiece before a follow up hook stretched him)

Juan Nazario (Pernell Whitaker... took a quick left directly on the jaw and took a step or two forward before collapsing face first)

    Others?

Jackson-Graham, and Jackson-Drayton are the first two that come to mind.

    Mustafa-Mwale is another good one.

It's so sudden... Mwale was actually having a pretty good round and then ZAP... then he's standing there "lemme put mymalfpeesh backinmymalfnow..."

Been a while since I saw it, but I recall Tarver/Harding being somewhat in line with ths topic

    "where are you?" ... "imfromphilazheklffia"

Yeah, I havent seen Tarver-Harding in YEARS.

The Mustafa-Mwale KO was a beauty though.

That lazy bastard Eddie had a dynamite right hand.

he sure did and a great left hook to the body... dude just didn't let his hands go, didn't keep in shape... if he had done both of those things consistently, he'd be a top 10 light heavy all-time, i think in my mind

I think you mean Pavlik-Zertuche. In which case, that's a very good one. Should have thought of that one.

Angel Manfredy vs Sean Fletcher, can't find the video so I'm not 100% sure as it was a long time ago, but if my memory serves me right, Fletcher was basically sleeping while still standing up when it was stopped.

I think rigor mortis would describe that one better.
