This would be a WAR! Let's see it. Ps...... both of them would sodomize Broner.

I wonder if that fraud Kell Brook still wants a piece of Porter after tonight. It's apparent Porter would shit on Brook.

I've seen several fights of Brook and it's hard for me to imagine him beating Porter or Thurman. Brook's chin appears mediocre at best and he isn't a defensive wiz. I'm not sure if Brook beats Akexander, let alone Porter. Let's see Brook vs Broner. Battle of the frauds.

Brook was ringside for Porter-Malignaggi. He probably rang Eddie Hearn after that fight and asked Hearn to put him in with Malignaggi next.

I think Brook and Broner both snuck out the back exit after watching what Porter did.

I guarantee Eddie Hearn will try his best not to make the fight. He'll say something like there's no money to be made by traveling to Porter's backyard. Let's get the fight in Sheffield. That or Brook will "pick up an injury" again.

Brook's best bet is just chase a Khan fight. He'd get paid well, and it's a fight he can win.

He'd go out on his back against Porter, or Thurman.

Getting back to the matchup at hand, once again lemme say that I'd LOVE to see this fight. Two young, unbeaten welters who have just entered their primes, and in an era when too many young fighters have slap and hold styles, these guys actually look to destroy.

Porter would be seeing a different type of beast in Thurman, because let's face it, Paulie and Alexandria the Fake had no power to deter Porter with. That wouldn't be the case given Thurman's the biggest puncher at 147.

However, Porter has the power to hurt Thurman, and he's physically stronger.

Basically comes down to Thurman's power vs Porter's strength. Either way, I'm almost certain it'd be a war, and I think one of them would get stopped.

It would be a classic. I'm almost certain someone would end up out cold face first on the canvas.

I think Kell Brook has a good jab and good timing. He's not a bad fighter by any means.

His only impressive performance is against Senchecko, and even in that fight he got buzzed, and Senchenko has no pop.

yup. He looked sloppy too. I mean dont get me wrong, He is exciting, but someone just as strong, and with a good boxing skills should be able to handle him.

Every fighter at welter is flawed, except for Floyd.

I mainly made this thread because it'd be an exciting fight. It's not like I'm hyping Porter as the next Aaron Pryor, and Thurman as the next Leonard. They're just two exciting, unbeaten welters, both in their mid 20s.

For the record, I'd pick Thurman. I don't think Porter would win a firefight with One Time.

I'd like to see Porter fight Khan, just so Porter would knock him out and end the talk of a Floyd-Khan fight once and for all.

By Rick Ross you mean AB? I think Porter would stop AB, pretty damn easily as well. So you'd pick Thurman over Porter im guessing?

I don't think we've seen Porter or Thurman truly hurt yet and seen how they respond when hurt. I haven't as yet. I wonder what their recuperative powers are like. Still young and still questions to be asked of them.

We can agree to disagree. I think Porter would put it on Broner. Broner vs Brook would be a pick em.

Least we agree about the Thurman part.

Well if we go off common opponents, then Porter did the job on Paulie that we EXPECTED outta Broner.

I don't see what AB has to hold Porter off with. With Thurman, Porter couldn't afford to rush in. With Broner, he can.

Broner should move down to 140 and pursue a fight with Peterson.

I'd pick Thurman over Provo. Provo got buzzed a few times by Timmy, who can't crack an egg, and by Alvarado, who has only average power. The Rusky isn't walking into Thurman's left hook over and over like that. Not that I wouldn't give Provo a chance, but I'd make Thurman the favorite.

Only thing I'm sure of is that Provo would run over Broner.

Nope. Don't see that at all. Thurman's better than you give him credit for.

Provo ate a lot of leather against both Timmy, and Alvarado, neither hits a FRACTION as hard as Thurman.

Granted, Provo bangs a lot harder than Soto Karass, so it's not a given.

I honestly believe Thurman would surprise you, and bust Provo up.

Won't happen though, as we all know.

Guess we'll just have to settle for Provo retiring Bum Bum Rios.

"Hurt" is an exaggeration. It was the first 30 seconds of the fight, and he got caught cold with a big overhand right. He buckled, and staggered around for a matter of seconds, then regained his legs. By the end of the round, he was the one hurting Soto Karass. He beat the Hell outta Karass from that point forward.

It's not something I hold against Thurman. ANY fighter can get buzzed if they get caught with a big shot in the opening minute of a fight.
