"There will never be a white champion as long as black fighters are fighting the way they are" :: One can only assume that slow, oafish and completely overmatched bums like Wepner and Cobb constituted what Larry thought of as "white" contenders......
It is hard not to laugh at Larry but he does actually seem genuinely upset and on the verge of tears. He must have felt a lot of resentment towards somebody and something. What isn't acceptable is the way he goes about expressing his anguish. "I wasn't a thought in my fathers Penis....no, its true, Richie".....is not the way to go about it. Telling people to "shove Boston up their ass" doesn't really cut the mustard either. I agree with Larry's general sentiment about how the TV people and Cesar's were wrong to ship in Peter Marciano for the occasion. I can't stand that shit.
Holmes was pretty bitter for most of his career and was always butthurt about one thing or another. He was one of the best Heavy champs of all time, made a shitload of money and, as far as I know, didn't piss it all away like so many others. It's too bad he didn't/doesn't seem to appreciate it as much as he should have.
Ron Borges was a complete cunt to Holmes and Holmes hated the guy... That's what that boston stuff was about
If you were as ugly as Borges, you'd be one smug, bitter sonuvabitch too. He looks like the Hunchback of Notre Dame in the face. Truly one of the ugliest muthafuckas on Earth.
