I mean, I would fault GGG, butttttt.......... Ward is tied up in legal trouble for GOD KNOWS HOW LONG. Frochy either wants a Chavez Junior fight or retirement. Junior ALREADY ducked GGG. G won't let Quillin anywhere near GGG, and Roach won't let Cotto near him.

Golov could just sit out until ONE of those fights comes to pass, but I can respect the fact that he continues to keep busy.

 

Rubio is garbage. All GGG can do is fight the contenders. If nothing else he is at least staying active.

 

At this rate, we might not see Ward in the ring til 2020.

Too many. I guess he's a promoter's dream in a way for an opponent. He has a name (kind of) and will take short money to get beaten up. Afterward the story is "he was the only one with the balls to get in the ring with me".

 

This is exactly how Manny Steward would think this fight will go. Afterall he was just going to say this would happen.

GGG is the Truth - Maybe untested, but who can he fight? Good footwork, hits like Mike, good chin(I think) Not a defensive wizard, but if he has a good chin and his offense who cares. If the only fight people really want to see are him and Ward, you are talking about him fighting the only really great fighter close to him, and that in itself means something.
