Whispers going round that this could be in the works for 2015. Does anyone think it happens and who likes this matchup?

I'd love to see Manny destroying Khan and messing his ugly face.

I'm hearing Khan-Guerrero for December? I like that matchup. Guerrero then Pac is possible. Khan has faced a few southpaws in his pro career too!

Khan doesn't deserve a fight against Pac or Mayweather.

He should rematch Danny Garcia before even thinking about getting in the ring with two first ballot hall of famers.

Khan/Guerrero is interesting. Khan probably wins that with his hit - hold - smother routine that worked so well against Collazo.

It didn't work when Garcia starched him silly.

He hadn't fully adopted his current puss style when he fought Garcia. Not saying he wouldn't lose to Garcia again, but it is a factor.

Pac would have to be on his death bed to lose to this clown.

Khan would lose. Brutally. Aint no glass necked fencepost boxbot beating even this version of Pac.

Getting past Robert Guerrero is not automatic either. He's a tough guy.

Khan has the tools to beat him but...

I do not want to see Khan-Pac. Zero point to this fight. Pac KO1. Khan-Mayweather Jr is a far more interesting fight, I suspect Floyd knows it & does not want to take a chance on Khan.

How is it any more interesting, because Mayweather is less likely to be able to one punch KO him?

Partially. Khan is susceptible to single big shots, especially early - tailor made for Pacquiao. Floyd relies on accumulation to take out his opponents, one shot isn't likely to do it for him. Floyd has also slowed down over the years, and he has had fits against faster fighters.. Khan's speed, reach/length, size, and power make this an interesting fight. I'm not saying Khan wins. But he has a much better shot against Floyd than he does against Pac.

That just makes maybe the first few rounds more competitive. I don't see how that makes the fight as a whole more compelling. If anything the potential for a knockout coming at any point would make Pac-Khan more appealing to many.

Khan vs. JINKEE Pacquiao is Somewhat Intriguing...Otherwise, REED Has Little Interest...

    STYLES, Bro...

You Can Probably Count the Number of TALLER Fighters, Floyd has Faced, on 1 Hand (DeLa, Chicanito, Corrales, N'Dou and ???...)...Ditto for the Number of Fighters AS Fast or FASTER than Floyd Is/Was??? (Zab, Sugar Shane???...)...

In 2014, Amir Khan Encompasses Both, AND he's YOUNGER...

Factor in Floyd's CLEAR Decline & Khan Looks like a Reasonably Daunting Task, in Terms of Fights Floyds Contract Milking, Cherrypicking, Bitch Ass will REALISTICALLY Take...But Even @ his Best, Floyd NEVER Fought a Cat Quite like Khan...Granted, ANY Pre-2013 Version of Floyd CLOWNS Khan, by KO, Early Doors....

But TODAY's Version of Floyd Wouldn't Find Khan Sooooooo Easy to Beat, Though he'd ULTIMATELY Win, in REED's Opinion...Still, We Would See an OLD Floyd Faced w/a Style he's NEVER Encountered Before...Even PRIOR to Floyd-Maidana I & II, Khan was a Potential Opponent that INTRIGUED REED....NATHAN's Changed...

HATE on Khan @ your Leisure, but You're LYING to Yourselves, if Pretending he's DEVOID of World Class Boxing TALENT...Yeah, Khan's Chin SUCKS, but Dude CAN Fight a Little Bit...

Agreed, Khan is chinless and one dimensionnal, but he's really good at this dimension and imo, this version of Floyd would have a tough time taking him out of his control zone.

I've always said Khan poses unique problems for Floyd, glad some people are able to put the hate aside and analyse it without emotion.

Floyd would give goldfish gaze the Mosley treatment. Hands up, press the range, force him to lead under pressure, counter the shit out him. A rare emphatic Floyd KO. Best fight out there for him.

After which Khan will get up off his knees and wipe his mouth.

Except Khan is taller, has more reach, and can fight going backwards.

Imo khan gets stopped by either just quicker by PAC
That said...I think he has ZERO shot vs Floyd and a very very slim shot at PAC

    ?? How so?

The guy's only defense when going backwards is to drape himself on his opponent's back until the ref physically pries them apart
