Jake Shields got a first round RNC win over Ryan Ford. The win puts Shield in position to face the winner of the WSOF Welterweight Championship fight between defending champ Rousimar Palhares and Jon Fitch.

I have to admit, both fights interest me. Two of the more clingy and successful grapplers in MMA history against Palhares and his deadly leg locks is interesting.

shields beats them both imo. palhares vs fitch is a toss up. if palhares can't get the heel hook in the first round, i can see fitch making it ugly and grind out a win on points.
