this belongs in the defacto roy jones jr vs hany atiyo thread http://fightbeat.com/forums/showthread.php?50454-FAVORITE-Ring-Entrances&highlight=atiyo
The funny thing is, I'm not sure he is. I get the impression he is doing it because he likes it. Anyone know different?
supposedly he blew a bunch of money on his shitty record label and is fighting because he needs money
bless Roy.. if he can fight total bums and KO them with body shots without getting hurt at all.. more power to him
I don't think he's in Holyfield level debt but he's still doing it for the money. If he was financially set I don't see him fighting bums in foreign countries for the pure joy.
That sucks, I seem to remember now you said this before. What an idiot. Working hard for that money for years, then blowing it on a shitty record label. How much do you think he gets for HBO appearances?
Little known fact... Bep Van Klaveren (the boxer, not the poster) was a vegetarian (of course, the poster might be as well)

Keeping it 100, REED Hasn't Seen a Roy Jones Bout, in it's ENTIRETY, Since Hopkins II... Nonetheless, As DREADFUL as that Fight was, Bernard's Fought Pascal 2wice, Dawson 2wice, Cloud, Murat & Shumenov...Bernard Clearly WON the RE w/Roy, but Truth Be Told, he Looked MORE Impressive vs. Most of the Guys he Faced Since... Which ENHANCES ROY'S LEGACY, BITCHES!!!... "Ya'll Musta Forgot!!!".... REED:elmo:
There are a actually vegetarian cyclist that finish the tour the France. If Roy would be a vegetarian, now that would immensely enhance his legacy. It is my understanding that given Hanzy's love for sausage he can be considered a meat eater.
fighting outside of US soil really tarnishes his legacy...what excuse is there for not fighting overseas in the 90's? :dunno:
Thank you for noticing. I've been a member for years, but this was my first ever Hanzy pun. A memorable moment for every poster on this forum.
