Rigondeaux is really over rated. His resume isn't as good as Walters and he's had some shitty performances.

    How is it not?

They share the same best opponent, and they both beat him easily. The rest of their resumes are both nondescript with a slight edge to Gondo who has fought decent competition from early in his career.

Rigo also beat him first at a weight more optimum for Donaire

Agreed. Plus Gondo is fucking tiny.

    Because Walters stopped him.

And the point is, unlike gondo, nobody is picking walters to beat everyone.

For Better or Worse, in the TRUEST Sense of the Term, Guillermo Rigondeaux is a "Counter Puncher"...

He's RIGHTFULLY Criticized for Being "Boring' @ Times, but if you Watch Closely, it's Because the Opponent has STOPPED Trying to Win...When Rigondeaux Opponents INITIATE or Open Up Somewhat, Dude is Anything BUT Boring...When they just Try to SURVIVE, Rigondeaux Bouts are Admittedly Mundane...

Donaire was Guilty of this in Spots, as were Agbeko & Cordoba...Marroquin was Brave, yet Got Bounced Off the Canvas 3 Times...Rico Ramos & Teon Kennedy Didn't Look to Survive Either & BOTH of them were KO'ed Impressively...

Rigondeaux's 1 of the HARDER "Little Man" Punchers of All Time & his Skill Set Speaks for Itself...His Natural Weight is Probably 118, yet he Dominates 122 & Has to Be Favored to Do Likewise @ '26...

Rafael Marquez has a SLIGHT Puncher's Chance & Yeah, Rigondeaux's Been Dropped, but REED Can't Say he's Seen him Genuinely HURT...Marquez, on the Other Hand, had an Average (or BELOW) Chin, @ Best...@ Rigondeaux's OPTIMAL Weight of 118, & Considering Marquez WASN'T the Type to Try to Survive, the Cuban Beats the Brakes Off of Him, Stopping Marquez No Later than Round 6...

Why not at 122 since Rigo's never fought at 118

You say Dick York, and I say Dick Sargent. Just like Samantha Stephens, that Cuban witch doctor will fuck anybody up, no matter the weight class, with just a wink of an eye and a twitch of his nose.

Agreed with Double that Rigondeaux is very very overrated on this forum. Still, I think he would beat Marquez

Ragu would burn two holes into that guys solar plexus, by way of his magically delicious 1000 Yard stare.

Blue hearts, purple diamonds, cuban clovers..........

Jhonny gonzalez can get abused in Azteca stadium next year if he's inclined. The jackal has put him on notice. As well as Lomachenko!
