For me it is Pac. That Floyd refused to fight Pac is enough reason for me to justify this. Floyd literally said that his health is more important than money when talking about Pac. Also Pac has fought the better competition and destroyed many of them in spectacular fashion.

Definitely Pacquiao. His accomplishments at 147 are more impressive, especially given how many weights removed it was from him turning pro.

Floyd better, Manny accomplished a lot more. Manny is greater. The problem is that Manny's greatness is like Bonds', McGwire's, and Sosa's.

    Pacquiao.

8 divisions champion. Mexican Destroyer for many years. Has been calling out Fraud Maysweater for years while Fraud ducks the challenge. Has performed better against common opponents with Fraud. His fights are more exciting too.

Wait a second: four posters wrote they pick Floyd, but only one voted for him? :scratcher:

I think it's pac rather clearly.

His absolute beatdown of Cotto and DLH are some of the most shocking moments in boxing history.

Except Pacquiao's refusal to do drug testing was the first and worst duck job and 'performed better against common opponents' is pretty meaningless when Floyd 12-0'd JMM and Pacquiao never came close to that in 4 tries with one of those tries ending in unconsciousness for Pacquiao.

The clear answer to me is Manny. Manny's resume is much better than Floyd's considering the list of guys he beat when they were at the top of their game. Plus the 8 divisions he won titles in. That's crazy.

    112
    118
    126
    130
    135
    140
    147
    154

I look at it similar to how I view Roberto Duran and Sugar Ray Leonard. Both are great fighters, but I'd rank Duran above Leonard. The same as I rank Duran above Hearns despite hearns destroying Duran.

If Floyd and Manny fought I think Floyd would win rather easily, but that wouldn't change my all-time ranking for either guy.

It could have been Floyd but the way he's avoided the toughest fights since moving to welterweight and it's gonna be held against him, and rightfully so.

Agreed, his resumé is ridiculous, as is the shocking way that he started demolishing welterweights, after what seemed like only fighting at 130 pounds yesterday.

TBH I can't believe anyone is picking Floyd, even if you think Floyd is the better fighter, Pacquiao has the better resumé quite clearly.

    Manny.

I can see the argument that Floyd is the better fighter, but Pacquiao is clearly the greater fighter.

Well, well I didn't get knock the fuck out by some 2nd string Salvador Sanchez punk bitch!!! It only took one fight for me to show Marquez can't fuck with ME! Manny had to dance the cucaracha with that motherfucker 4 times...and he got slept! I made more in my last fight than Pacquiao has made in his last 3.....I'm about money.....if it doesn't make dollars it doesn't make sense...and at the end of the day SKILLS pays the BILLS...my taxes are paid...my bitches are 10's...and paid for...my cars of fancy and my kids is set for life. Let Manny be his own man...let me walk in his own without Bob Arum then we can talk buziness...MOfucka...let go to Mcdonalds!

That's pretty much the only thing Flolyd has on Pac imo. Pac is quite a big higher in my ATG list.

I don't think an alphabet was on the line but he was considered The Ring champion after that win.
