I have NO CLUE why this movie got so-so reviews. It was BRILLIANT!! Easily one of the best space movies of all time, and I don't care if I take flack for that.

Absolutely SHITS on last year's space blockbuster, Gravity, which was a decent movie, but nothing spectacular.

Seriously though, I'm actually baffled at this getting any negative reviews. It really was a great movie.

    9.5/10

It was good not great. It wasn't really memorable and the ending was absurd. Glad you liked it though.

I tried to watch this tonight - I lasted 45 mins - then the totally-ugly hag that is Anne Hathaway appeared and I just bailed....

Finally watched it. Very dramatic and very depressing.

Another good space movie was Moon.

Yup. The movie is fucking great. And it's actually better the second time. So many things I missed the first time.

You're referring to Interstellar right? Not Moon?

Can you tell me some details you caught the second time? I'm trying to figure out if I wanna watch it again.

With all due respect, I dont want to do that because i think it's much more fun discovering them yourself. Plus, there could be things that I noticed the second time around that you noticed the first time and vice versa. But one thing that is consistent is that people who saw the movie more then once, generally find a few things they missed the first time.

But if you do want to spoil it for yourself, there is an interesting reddit topic that discusses many things people noticed upon second or third viewing.

    Agreed, ending was underwhelming though.

Gravity shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as this film.
