    Great matchup!

Danny will most likely win. I don't trust Peterson's chin against anyone who can crack.

    Good fight.

I like Danny here via clear UD. It won't be spectacular but he'll do his usual routine of starting slow and picking it up.

    Quality Fight...

Garcia SHOULD Win, but Peterson's Got Enough All Around Skill and Ability to Pull an Upset Win...

The Thing about Garcia is, he Fights To the Level of his Competition...If he Comes in SLEEPING on Peterson, he Could Definitely LOSE...

I see Garcia destroying Peterson. Garcia will be able to hit Peterson easily.

Going to be fought at a catchweight of 143lbs so no titles will be on the line. The fuck? [IMG]

This is ridiculous. Oh, the bravery!! First time I ever remember this happening with champions fighting above their title belts to avoid unifying and risking belts. Plenty of other ways, i.e. not paying sanctioning fees, but I don't remember this one.

well, Peterson-Mathysse was the same bullshit, wich makes this even more ridiculous as now Lamont could lose two ''unification'' fights in a row yet still be a champ.

The IBF sucks, but the Matthysse fight wouldn't count because it's not a unification bout unless the real titles are at stake. Garcia had the real WBC belt. However, you are correct, it was fought at 141 and is similar.

On that same date Orlando 'Siri' Salido defends his title against former two-time champ, Roman 'Rocky' Martinez in a classic Mexico vs Puerto Rico bout. However, I don't think that Martinez can handle the non-stop attack from slugger Salido and will be stopped before the tenth round.
