I'm a fan of both, but I've always been a huge Matty Ice fan so I'm rooting for him.

    I'm picking Matthysse also.

There's no certainties in boxing but Matthysse should beat Provodnikov.

I think Matthyssee will stop Provo late in a war.

Not sure tbh. To me this is a pick em fight.

Lucas is the somewhat smoother, more skilled fighter, but given the right opponent the FFH Provo is a little beast.

He can be outboxed with relative ease, but if you fight him head on he's a dangerous little mofo, and needless to say Lucas aint gunna be outboxing him. FFH Provo is tough, strong, and determined, wouldn't surprise me at all if he got the better of Lucas.

I disagree that Provo can be "outboxed with ease." That's ridiculous.

With relative ease by a good boxer, that's not an exaggeration.

I consider that Algieri outboxed him pretty easily, and I hate the smug yuppie, and like FFH Provo.

I wouldn't be confident of FFH Provo against any decent or particularly negative boxer, but he has a great chance of smashing anyone who is likely to fight him head on.

the guys who were able to outbox provodnikov were only able to narrowly beat him, and got all bashed up in the process

I don't consider that true of the scrubby yuppie tbh. I'm surprised people think that fight was close. I thought the yuppie won about 9 rounds, he was outboxing him and landing more almost every round.

And again, I much prefer FFH Provo.

Algieri got the shit kicked out of him and had he lost that decision it would not have been controversial.

FFH Provo vs Algeria was a close fight and as Neil said, there's no doubt who took the most punishment in that fight

For one round, yeah. After that he just got on his yuppie bike and jabbed away, and my ping is FFH didn't really do much after that, and got controlled/outboxed with relative ease.

I think I had it a draw... Algeria was barely landing anything, just running and jabbing gloves in a lot of rounds

I just keep thinking of the molina fight. Despite being outclassed, molina was able to repeatedly land and hurt mathysse.

On the other hand, will be key to see how Provo reacts to getting hit by mathysse because by the same token, mathysse will surely be successful landing clean shots on provo.

Hard to think of a more brutal match up.

Gatti, what if Provo and Matty just start making out and caressing one another with boxing gloves? Will you be angry? Disgusted? Will you walk out? Or would you sit there, racked with guilt nursing a shameful erection?

Should be a great fight. But I have the weird feeling that it won't be as good as expected.

Won't be as competitive as expected.

I honestly think Matty Ice is gonna fuck Provo up bad.

I know people are giving Provo a chance because of the Molina fight. But let's consider, Molina has a rangier style than Provo and caught Matty Ice on the end of a lot of punches.

Provo is just a come straight at you, face first slugger.

I think he's made for Ice.

Timmy the head was able to hurt Provo to the body and have him pissing blood.

Matthysse is gonna rape Provo to the body.

Provo can't adjust or change up his look the way Danny Garcia can.

Like X just said, he's face first and is made for Lucas.

The more I think of this fight, I just see Provo getting hit with too many clean shots one after the other and eventually he's gonna fall.
