Loses...........will a little bit of you lose with him, like??? ................If Floyd gets paid.............do you get paid with him too?? If Floyd gets da respect, will you walk into work the next day and ask for da respect, also? If Jay Z is the man at ringside, do you too feel that you are the man, at ringside?? :notallthere::notallthere::notallthere:
If Floyd loses, his value plummets. His biggest marketing tool is his zero. Without it, interest in his fights will be a shell of what it was. TFK
If Pacquiao can generate some movement and excitement, it will enable the enablers to say..."Oh he ain't slipped a dime" and Floyd will ponce on the victory even more.
It's unfortunate. Society is dominated by the image of total, untarnished victory, a stark contrast to the reality of life which is based entirely on partial, semi-victories, if you are lucky. Floyd is basically a walking advertisement for the sentiment that there is honour in the dollar, the old Henry Hill line that people who had jobs and waited on line were suckers.
Lucky for him he only has 1 or 2 more fight left in that contract before he retires...and one of them fight would be an IMMEDIATE rematch.
Only if he loses. If Floyd wins there is no rematch and his farewell fight will be against Jorge Arce.
Who do you want to win, Neil? Not who you're picking but who do you want to see win? Do you want Floyd's zero to go?
