Fuck Jesus. Fuck him and his fucking faggot haircut too. Manny lost because of the Jesus, the Butterfinger Cups, and the shoulder. But primarily Jesus, like 90% Jesus.
yup. THat was a tough fight for him. He was getting hit with some good shots by a much bigger guy. Im not sure how much fight the guy had in him after that.
He didn't take much punishment against Plasterito, he beat the fuck out of him. Took a couple of meaty body shots and that's about it. It was basically a coincidence to him naturally slowing down and changing his style.
I just watched the fight again yesterday. He took some hard shots from a much bigger guy. He did beat Margaritos ass, no doubt, but it was a tough fight for him.
He took very few of them though Anthony, he hardly looked/seemed beaten up at the end did he? Think about the absolute wars some fighters are in, taking punishment round after round, well, like Plasterito did against Pacquiao :: It was only a tough fight in the sense that Plasterito made Pacquiao work, round after round, by being a relentless punching bag, but he hardly landed anything of his own.
There is no way Plasterito landed 11 clean power punches a round, no way. He took more punishment from Morales and Marquez.
Right, most of them were to the arms, and a few to the body, it really wasn't much punishment to take in a fight. Just an average amount, certainly not enough for someone to permanently slow down and change their style, that's utterly absurd ::
I've watched it enough, trust me. He did take a few hard, clean shots, but not many of them at all. Certainly not enough to have any lasting impact or even to call it a tough fight. It was only tough in the sense that Pacquiao was being forced to work 3 minutes of every round, as Plasterito sure does love being punched in the face over and over again, he couldn't get enough of it.
Just watch the fight.....getting hit by a huge welter/jr welter is on another level than getting hit by Morales at 130 or even Marquez at 140'ish <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/kXq6QA89ZqE?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Again, I've seen the fight multiple times, I have a great HD copy of it. Pacquiao simply didn't take many clean punches, as evidenced by his relatively unscathed face/body. He took one really meaty body shot that temporarily doubled him up a bit, and a handful of other decent body shots and head shots, the rest were to arms/shoulders. It certainly wasn't a tough fight in the traditional sense, it's not like Pacquiao took a beating.
They obviously do on some compubox counts, because he didn't land 135 clean power punches, that's 11 a round, you really believe that? 11 clean power shots a round? :: He was being battered senseless, he landed maybe 3 or 4 clean shots per round.
I am almost always sober, especially watching fights, Plasterito hardly landed anything clean, it was not a tough fight.
“It’s a really hard fight, this is the hardest fight in my boxing career,” Pacquiao said. “Margarito is really tough and strong… I feel it, he’s big, bigger than me.”
He landed 135 clean power punches. lmao And the man probably weight close to 170 on fight night. And the guy just keep coming and coming putting a shit load of pressure on Manny. You Dont think that is a tough fight. Well who cares, Manny thought it was the toughest fight of his life.
