Marquez gets outboxed at every single weight.

Camacho is a terrible style matchup for Marquez.

Camacho runs like a terrified pussy from the legend marquez. Camacho never beat anyone anywhere near as good

Marquez would be confused by Camacho's disco dancing

Marquez is overated base on the success he had vs. Pacquiao....it's a pick 'em fight IMO...Camacho fight like a chicken but you need to be aggressive and work him over to bring out the puta in him.

I don't see it as a pick em. I see Camacho as a clear favorite at 130-135.

Camacho at this point is underrated. The man was a DAMN GOOD fighter in his prime, and the style matchup here favors him. JMM is traditionally better against aggressive guys.

Camacho's handspeed, and movement would bedevil him. JMM is pretty slow on his feet, it's not like he's gonna cut the ring the way Chavez did. AND he doesn't have the fight altering power of Rosario.

Camacho is a safe bet to outbox him.

WHats so funny?? Pacquiao is an all time great...Marquez had his number in the sense that he will always give him a tough fight...put Marquez in there with someone less great like Edwin Rosario...and ell Chapo would rip his head off.....8 out of 10 times.

Clearly Marquez gets elevated in status because of his performances against Pacquiao but he should. It's a bit more Frazier-Ali than Norton-Ali. In other words it wasn't purely a style. Marquez has a lot of solid wins over his career without Manny.

I have no problems with anybody picking Rosario over JMM but that's not a foregone conclusion. In fact it's a pretty great matchup.

(yes I know Juan Diaz gave Marquez problems imagine what Rosario would do!)

I think Marquez would have a very good chance of beating Rosario

I don't see how JMM doesn't have fight changing power.....he's stopped a lot of guys...knocked down barrera.. knocked out pacquiao.....Rosario hits harder but you can't rule out JMM hurting camacho....

Not a 130 win, but Ramirez at 135 trumps Marquez's entire lightweight reign. JLR was a MUCH better fighter than Baby Cow Diaz, Assidis, and the corpse of Casamayor.

He is. And Camacho has become underrated. To pretend that the style matchup here doesn't favor Camacho is just being a JM lover.

It's no secret that Marquez historically does better against guys who come straight to him and gives him countering opportunities.

Camacho isn't coming to him. He's moving away, making Marquez lead (which he prefers not to) and using his speed to befuddle Marquez.

Also, Camacho had sneaky pop in his prime. He was SOOO fuckin fast that I could definitely see him nailing Marquez with a counter he doesn't see and scoring a KD or two.

I hate camacho but I agree it is daft to pretend that his style isn't a serious issue for Juan Manuel Nortonez

As a fellow Rican I never cared for Camacho's style or antics, but he would outbox Marquez rather easily. JMM has indeed become overrated.

I think Chapo punches too hard. He'd fuck him up bad.
