Unless Erik Morales has turned Jesse Vargas into a COMPLETELY different fighter overnight, then I don't see how this fight is anything other than a Bradley UD. Vargas is mediocre as all Hell and figures to be a step too slow for The Head.
I have a hunch that Roy is actually a great teacher if he dedicated himself to someone. Thing is, he's still a commentator, and sadly STILL thinks of himself as a fighter as well.
Difficult to tell. They say Willie Pep was a bad trainer. Even though he was among the greatest ever and a bright guy outside of boxing too, he imply couldn't understand how somebody was not able to repeat the moves that were so simple for himself. Roy might face the same problem as a trainer.
Yup. Traditionally it's lesser fighters who make the best trainer.s Same thing in team sports. Gretzky wasn't much of a coach either.
