Tito picks Canelo to win. For some reason I always got the vibe that Tito wasn't very fond of Cotto. I don't think it's a jealousy thing, because Tito was a bigger star, I think it's because they have vastly different personalities. Tito, charismatic, extroverted, always smiling, a man of the people. Cotto, always dour looking, an introvert, a man of himself. I think Tito probably sees that Canelo's personality is closer to his own than Cotto's.

Bradley's breakdown of everything was solid, until he said Golovkin has slow hands, which is not true.
I would have given Mayorga every check I make for the rest of my life had he hit Seckbach full-force with that right hand.

I would have picked a prime Cotto to beat Canelo, but Cotto is no longer in his prime. Yes, I know he's looked like he's still in his prime against a shot Martinez, and Aussie scrub, but I don't buy that he's still prime. He's naturally more talented than Canelo, and naturally more skilled than Canelo, but I think Ginger's youth and superior chin will win out. I'm not a fan of either guy, but I'm record for saying I'm rooting for Canelo - only because I believe he has the willingness to make a Golovkin fight happen. Cotto wants no parts of that fight.
whats your salary lookin like? I'll consider clocking seckbach when i see him around, and get someone to film it. now mind you, Im no Mayorga, but....If there is one thing I can do it is punch very, very hard with the right hand!! i feel as though in a three round fight i could knock out trinidad. and for the record vargas wouldve beat the shit out of alvarez
To this day still the single most comical thread in boxing forum history. And yes, El Feroz would have tattooed Ginger.
Canelo will stop Cotto. It's also much better for boxing if the young rising star beats the old man on the decline.
I'd pick Canelo if he was a pressure fighter but he's not. He's too methodical and let's his opponents get in rhythm. And Cotto hits hard enough to keep him honest.
Canelo is better than Vargas was. Competitive, but Canelo wins. Cotto at his best probably better than Canelo, but he's smaller and no longer at his best. Odds on Canelo make sense.
seems Tito is bitter Cotto can read and write and has established a brand that is not comprised of junk bonds opcorn:
Vargas style always lead to somewhat competitive fight against B/A opponents...even though they really NOT that competitive...QUARTEY..
Canelo's not a big enough puncher to take out a prime Vargas, and he sure as Hell couldn't outwork or outbox Vargas. I'd say there's a legit possibility of a late Vargas stoppage. A badly gassed Canelo getting hammered along the ropes in the late rounds.
