This fight was supposed to be on for Dec. 12th. But not anymore.

Fuckin Haymon. This was the ONLY good PBC matchup for the rest of the year, and now it's not happening. And I don't think it has anything to do with Thurman or Porter not wanting it.

Haymon truly does enjoy making shit matchups.

PBC's quality is very good. Thurman vs Porter is no more than average.

It would NOT be much of a fight anyway....Thurman would destroy shitty Porter.

It is? Seems like one mismatch after another. How do you figure? Thurman/Porter would have been a great matchup cared to the crap they usually show.

Post their cards. They have a shitload. Some good, some better than good, some mismatches. Lots of championship fights.

I haven't done this, but my guess is that the quality will end up somewhere between shobox/bad and regular hbo and showtime.

Much better than ESPN2, Top Rank, Goldenboy, Telemundo, TyC, Broadway, etc.

I think Thurman wins, but I doubt it's a one sided destruction.

    Thurman is very flawed.

yeah it's better than FNF, but the budget is much bigger too afaik, and with the amount of $$ invested in it, PBC has been a major disappointment imo
. Mismatch and meaningless fights one after another with the odd good fight mix in between. Thurman-Porter would have been a huge fight (for hardcore fans), I don't know how you can say it's only average ???

thurman vs porter is a shitty matchup. Im glad it wont occur. porter should be banned from television due to his awful style. put thurman against someone watchable.

I'd rather see Thurman-Spence, but One Time wants Spence no time.

For the record, I pick Thurman by pretty clear UD. Possibly late stoppage, but I think Porter will last the distance. But he'll be down and hurt several times.

If PBC really wants to boost themselves, they need to make Thurman-Spence and Khan-Garcia 2.

People are gonna start turning away from all these mismatches they're making if not.

Oh, and Trout-J-Rock also should be made.

Well, sadly I'm almost positive that Thurman-Porter will generate higher ratings than Thurman-Spence would.

There's NO casuals that know Spence... yet.

SOME casuals know Porter, because he beat Broner.

My pick is Thurman, but I suspect it'll be more competitive than some may think.

Porter is scrappy, and he'll be in Thurman's chest I suspect.

I'm thinking it'll be a war that's back and forth then by the mid to late rounds Thurman's harder punches will start to rule the day.

It won't be lopsided, but I expect One Time to win pretty clearly. 9-3, or 8-4. I don't discount a late Thurman stoppage. Porter is a sitting duck for counter left hooks.
