The bombing continues like a merciless box office desert storm operative for the third consecutive week. No changes in the top four from the last two weeks (well, five): The Martian retained the #1 spot with $11.4 million; Goosebumps the second position with $10.2 million; Bridge Of Spies holds again the third spot with 8 million; Hotel Transylvania 2 had a nice Halloween with $5.8 million in its sixth week and moving a notch up to the fourth spot (the sequel is now out grossing the first film).

Lets take a look now at this week's new batch of flops.

Debuting in the fifth spot Bradley Cooper's chef film Burnt cooked a turkey with just $5 million gross which is even lower than his prior flop Aloha. Time to reconsider more commercial projects. Maybe his next collaboration with Jennifer Lawrence, Joy, could end his bad luck...or maybe not (anyone remembers Serena their mutual bomb from early this year?).

Bombing miserably in the eight spot, Sandra Bullock had the worst opening of her career with the prophetic title Our Brand is Crisis hich too only $3.4 million. The film had budget of $30 million (modest by studio standards), but it will definitely will not recover its investment.

The title that surprisingly underperformed in a Halloween weekend was Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse which failed to crack the top ten and crashed in the 12 pot with $1.7 million.

But if you think that was bad, just look at the numbers of the Oscar hopeful Truth starring Cate Blanchet & Robert Redford after expanding to 1'122 screens: it crashed and burn in the 16 spot with less than a million ($900,914).
