Bradley via clear UD. There will be some rough moments but he'll stay out of mixing it up too much with Rios.
Was the first thread so overwhelmed by discussion that a predictions only was required? You could have just bumped it. http://fightbeat.com/forums/showthread.php?52829-Bradley-Rios-discussion
My thoughts exactly. I get the feeling his fat ass had to train more to lose the weight than train for the actual fight. Timmy winning looks more likely.
I really hope Rios beats the fuck outta Bradley though. Timmy the head is showing no class in throwing the only trainer he's ever had under the bus like he's been doing. Bradley shoulda told the media something like "Joel and I had some differences and it was time for a change" and LEFT IT at that! Instead, every interview he's taking shots at Diaz and talking about how Atlas is so much better, and it just sounds bitter and classless. What makes Atlas better than Diaz I have no fuckin clue. Atlas isn't exactly Eddie Futch/Angelo Dundee as a trainer. If Rios knocks his ass out, it's gonna be HILARIOUS!
Yeah it's clear that there was some sort of a personal rift there. And I always felt Bradley was above all that stuff, so I'm disappointed in how he's acted after all of that.
I don't agree with this. People fall out all the time. Cotto and his uncle got into fist fights several times and I never heard anyone going on about how they wished he caught beating. Rios is one of the most classless and unprofessional fighters out there. He's the last person to deserve a win over Bradley.
You can fall out without acting like a child. Bradley is acting like Diaz never did a damn thing for him. Even if he doesn't like him anymore, he doesn't have to go out his way to bash him at every given opportunity. Like I said, a simple "He and I had our differences, and I decided it was time for a change" would suffice. Bradley is bashing Diaz like he's a fuckin ex-gf.
My baddd. Tim Bradley, ya know - tough, strong, HOONNGRRYY.... competitor! I respect him. But like I said before, I've just been here so many times...
Rios doesn't have much left in the game. Anybody who has eaten his way out of 3 divisions will have a short career, plus his style of fighting.
90 more mins til this one. I'm excited to see the skills of Loma on display, despite the fact it's a showcase fight. Bradley-Rios I'm HOPING will give us the excitement it's hyped to, but I just dunno. I feel like fat ass Rios might sleep walk, and Bradley might box carefully all night. I think circa 2012 Bradley vs Rios woulda been a great action fight, as both guys had a lot more in the tank then.
History tells us that anytime Bradley is EXPECTED to win a fight easily, it's a struggle for him. But his case is helped by the fact that Rios isn't in the same shape for this fight as he was in third Alvarado fight.
Even though we think of Rios as a balls to the wall WARRIOR....unlike Ruslan he can be tamed if hit often enough....
This is true. There is ONE thing I'll give Rios over Provo though.... he's a better finisher. When Rios gets a guy badly hurt, he's pretty good at knowing how to keep them hurt. The trick is gonna be for him to GET Bradley hurt..
