Apparently Roc Nation is looking to finalize placing Rigo on next week's card. So, my assumption is Rigo is already fight-shape ready.

Rigo is always training. Like literally ALWAYS...

Even when he's not fighting, he never leaves the gym so it's not shocking.

It's been a long time since we've seen him so I look forward to it.

If this Pans Out, Boxing Will have ENDED 2015 on a High, Despite the Epic FAILURE that was Mayweather-Pacquiao...

GGG-Lemieux w/Chocolatito-Viloria on the Undercard, Followed by Cotto-Canelo w/Rigondeaux on the Undercard...

If this is true I'll buy a ticket to the card instead of closed circuit

Well go buy your card ticket, looks like The Jackal is officially on undercard.

Meaning Cotto and Canelo aren't the best fighters on the card.

mandalay bay is tricky. we'll see what the closed circuits are selling for and how much it cuts into profit to watch the legendary cuban

    The Jackal would outclass Lomachenko.

In a perfect boxing world, the boxing Gods would give us Golov-Canelo, Kov-Ward, and Rigo-Loma in 2016. But the boxing Gods hate us, so we'll probably only see one of those matchups in 2016, or maybe none of em.

Rigo NEEDS to back off his 124 catchweight demand though. He doesn't have the star power to leverage such a demand, and it's the catchweight plus Rigo demanding more money than he's worth that's holding the matchup back.

I don't think he's scared of Loma, but his dumbass promoters are obviously in his ear convincing him he's worth more than he is.

Outclass is a bit of a stretch. They are both top level technicians. Your statement screams ignorance of the sport.

If you judge both by their best performances to date, I'd take the Rigo that beat Donaire to beat the Loma who beat Russell.

But the Donaire fight was three years ago. Can Rigo channel such a performance again at 35? Who knows? Loma is 27 and just now starting to hit his professional prime.

Rigo-Loma is the only one I can see happening. If we get all three we're in for a treat.

No you can't. Floyd AND Manny (cause Manny deserves blame as well) are the reasons why no casual fans who aren't Rican or Mexican give a shit about tomorrow's fight.

The casual fan doesn't understand the idea of styles making fights. So, to them if the biggest/most hyped fight in history is a dud - all big fights after will be duds as well.

If Floyd had come out of his fag safety zone in the ring and pressed for a stoppage against Manny, he could have elevated the sport. But all YOU see the 4.8 mil buys. The rest of the sport suffers because of Floyd's lack of killer instinct and Manny's shotness.

If a Loma matchup comes off, I expect Rigo to raise his game. But I also suspect that age is catching up to him, and the razor sharp guy we saw against Donaire is no more.

Loma has to be considered the favorite after tonight.

Definitely not one of Rigo's best moments.

But I always favored Loma over him. I just think the youth and hand speed would rule the day against the older Rigo.

    Plus the size advantage.
