Has there ever been a bum that runs their mouth as much as Pascal? It's gonna be so much fun to watch Kov execute him in the rematch.
Yeah I can see that....I think the guy that knock you/down for the first time in your pro career most hit hard...or something. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Dalmo1T5__A?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe>
, I'm not a big Pascal fan, and yes, he does speak far too much (and he's not charismatic which makes it even worse), but you have to give him credit for always trying to fight the best. He could have milked the shit out of his title in Quebec a la BUte but is always pushing for big fights.
He talks a lot of shit.....but I can see him improving from that first fight...he will still lose but maybe not get drummed around so much this time..while he attacks and stays inside of Kovalev guard he's safe..it's when he decides it's getting to hot in here and pull away that when he get caught with punches....don't pull straight back faggot...
I think it will lose this fight by decision. He won'T make it a shoutout like last fight and try to spoil Kovalev offense.
David Haye. Be that as it may, nothing I saw in Pascal's last fight suggested to me there should be a rematch. I thought he lost as well. Kovalev KO 9
Pascal is far from a bum, and a shitload of boxers have said stupider things than he did. I'm not a pascal fan, but you seem to have an irrationnal hatred toward him. THe guy deserves respect for his willingness to fight top notch oppositions. THe rematch with Kovalev is not a fight i'm dying to see, but it is mildly interesting, since the first fight was exciting and decently competitive. In fact, he's by far the guy that was the most competitive with Kovalev in world title fights.
I'd say their power is relative, when you remember Pascal faced Froch at 168 and the level of opposition. Look at Froch's opponents since he fought JP...at 168lb: Jean Pascal Jermain Taylor Andre Dirrell Mikkel Kessler Arthur Abraham Glen Johnson Andre Ward Lucien Bute Yusuf Mack Mikkel Kessler George Groves George Groves He stopped only 5 of those, and lost 2...but the point is, anyone big hitter who faces stellar opposition fight after fight, isn;t going to be Tommy Hearnsing those guys out. Now lets look at Sergey Coughalov's opposition at 175lb: Roman Simokov Darnell Boome Lionel Thompson Gabriel Campello Cornelius White Nathan Cleverly Ismayl Silah Cedric Agnew Blake Caparello Bernard Hopkins Jean Pascall Nadjib Mohammadi Pretty awesome list innit? KO'd 11 out of 12. And maybe 3 of those anyone's ever heard of. Froch had 9 KOs out of 10 before he moved up in level of opposition starting with Pascal. Pascal claiming Froch hits harder than Kofalef isn't such a way-out thing to suggest when you look at the number s and the fact he'd fought at a heavier weight. When Kofi starts bombing out Stevensons, Wards, Braehmers...then we can see how legit his power really is.
What kind of Kov hater/Froch groupie you must be to say those two have comparable power. There's a rather big separation between Kov and Froch in terms of power. Anyone who would dispute that is a lunatic.
Is it? Or are you one of these Fagalev/Gaygady groupies who get seduced by records that have a KO % of over 85 in them? As soon as Sergey starts KO-ing guys people have actually heard of, then I will stand corrected. Until then, I think we can concur with Jean Pascal: Froch hits as hard at 168lb as Kovalev does at 175lb. But then, it's quite typical of Fightbeat posters to jump all over this and claim 'Fraud' cos they begrudgingly give Froch little due respect, regardless of his fucking great record. opcorn:
You do have a point about Froch great resume and that t is easy to look like a KO monster against hapless opponents. However, Froch has hardly knocked out anyone. Your example could prove that Froch is better than Kovalev ( I don't agree), but Froch wasn't even KOing the bums he fought early in his career. Plus, Froch fought evenly with this Pascal guy. The same guy Kovalev beat the shit out of. So you gotta wonder why Pascal wasn't there at the final bell, firing away with Kovalev. Or was it Kovalev's fleet foot and shoulder rolls that hurt Pascal?
No, Froch beat the scrubs early in his career by TKOs, Kovalev knocks the nobodies out cold. Both victories are as worthy, but one of them tells more about punching power than the other. Surely yo realize this. Are you saying that the level of Pascal's chin has dramatically decreased in the past years?
