What's interesting about this matchup is that anything is possible.

I can see a boring sloppy snoozefest that goes all 12 rounds
I can see an exciting shootout that ends early
I can see Deontay bombing Fury out of there early
I can see Tyson bombing Wilder out of there early
I can see Tyson fury leading on points and then getting caught late
I can see Wilder leading on points and then getting caught late

Anything can happen in this one.

    What are your thoughts?

I think Fury frustrates the fuck out of him and gives him a beating late, possibly stopping him.

AJ would just blow Wilder out of the water whenever he pleases.

If a plucky southpaw with limited experience and no real inner, core resistance.........can frustrate and drag Wilder into a fight....then Fury can too.

And Fury is bigger and stronger than Spzilka.

Wilder early. Fury's risding on that miserable performance against Quitsko like he did something. He didn't do shit. Wilder will come after him. I say Wilder in 3.

Which makes it one of the most anticipated and watchable fights in boxing.

Fighter that is going to beat Wilder is someone who applies constant pressure and can bang.
Wilder gets confused when being pressured and can't fight off his back foot. Also a fighter with good defensive abilities will give him problems. Wilder just seems to always land that Hail Mary shot on fighters that have limited defense.

By the same token, if a light punching cruiserweight like Steve Cunningham can easily put Tyson Fury flat on his ass, Wilder will have no trouble doing it. He hits three times harder than Cunningham.

I watched The Rumble in The Jungle two nights ago, for about the 100th time. First time I had watched it in a good 5-6 years though.

Sad that we've gone from Ali-Foreman for the undisputed championship... to Wilder-Fury. Two complete fucking buffoons. God help the division....

I'm excited about the division now though even though the talent isn't great. There are quite a few huge undefeated hard hitting young guns plus Haye coming back.

For the record, I think Wilder will stop Fury. Not confident of that at all, just a hunch. It's a 50-50 fight. Both are dreadful fighters.

Division is fun right now as I said before

    Luiz Ortiz
    Deontay Wilder
    Anthony Joshua
    Tyson Fury
    Joseph Parker

All undefeated with stellar KO percentages.

Then add David Haye and a few of those Eastern European monsters and quite a few big fights are to be made.

Agreed, I said it before but you don't need a deep talented division to make exciting fights that catch public imagination, especially at hw. Imo, what made the hw division so bad during the Klitshko reign was that, not only Klitshko fights were awful, but all the contenders were waiting to be gifted a title shot instead of fighting between themselves to earn it (even worst, it hindered their chances when they finally got that title shot). For example, Haye vs Chisora, while no one would mistaken for Ali-Frazier, was a fun fight with huge hype from the mainstream media (in GB).

Nowadays, there seems to be a couple of if not exciting, at least interesting, fighters in the division. Sure in a good era, most of them wouldn't even be top10 but we are not in a good era and you don't need A+ talent to make exciting fights. Hopefully, they'll fight each others and not try to milk any title they can get theirs hands on.

I am the only Wilder fan here and the only one who has believed in him from the start. When he takes out Fury, Klitchko, Joshua, and Haye, I don't want to see you fucking idiots jumping on my one man bandwagon.

Prime Mike Tyson maybe, but Fury who was very wary of Wlad's Power will not fight cautious early against Wilder? Really?
