Only Marquez could bring the desired PPV numbers, but Marquez hasn't fought since 2014 and is still recovering from that knee injury. http://www.boxingscene.com/roach-lists-marquez-brook-saunders-smith-cotto-options--100687
I don't think that semi-retired Marquez will bite the bait. He himself thought Cotto did enough to deserve at least a draw against young Canelo. Like Roach said, Marquez might want a tune-up fight first to shake off the rust.
It will be @ 153 1/4 pounds to make it completely fair and equitable. Also the prestigious WBC diamond latino belt will be the line. Only $49.99 on PPV. Order now.
If the Canelo vs Golovkin negotiation falls apart due to GGG camp insisting the fight must be at full 160 limit, then the WBC will strip the belt from GOLOVKIN (they'll got to strip somebody and it will NOT be Canelo) and will make the Cotto vs Marquez 153 lbs fight for the vacant interim WBC middleweight title :: and the winner MUST have to sign to fight Alvarez within 15 days or the title will be stripped and given to Ginger. :crafty:
