Who would win: Justice League or The Avengers teamed up with the X men

Comic book geeks, chime in. This seemed like he appropriate forum for this discussion since we're talking about upcoming comic book films.

Justice League are a ridiculously overpowered group so it wouldn't take just one team to beat them but two teams combined.

For the Justice League these are the following members:

Superman
Batman (the weak link....but maybe not so much)
Wonder Woman
Flash
Aquaman
Martian Manhunter
Green Lantern

Serious power there. Superman can arguably take all the Xmen by himself, for example.

From the Avengers:

Thor

From the Xmen:

Professor X
Magneto (yeah, I know he's Evil Brotherhood not X man, but let's include him anyway)

So it's a 2 on 1 battle to try to even up the odds: 7 DC JLs vs 14 Marvel teamup

What transpires?

 

I think you are overrating the Justice League members. Superman? Thor or Hulk by themselves can take him. Aquaman is a pussy out of the water (and even in the water). Spiderman rapes him. Green Lantern can be distracting but The Vision can take care of him. Wonder Woman will be reduced to a pile of ashes by Scarlet Witch. Captain America vs Batman is the most intriguing bout, but once the Dark Knight runs out of gadgets from his utility belt, it will be a mano a mano fight against the supersoldier Steve Rogers and honestly, all that ninja training will not be a match against the First Avenger. Flash can run very fast but Thor's hammer will stop him in his tracks and knocks him out in the process if it doesn't kill him. Martian Manhunter will be blast back to Mars by IronMan.

As you can see a total mismatch against just ONE team from Marvel! ::

 

Marvel would lose because of in-fighting.

JLA wins because of Superman. You may think Thor or even the Hulk or on the same strength level as Supes but they're not. They're not even close. To be honest Marvel's more realistic take on supers is the reason their characters would lose.

 

:baa: Tony Stark puts some Kryptonite to one of his suit's rocket launchers and is lights out for the Man of Steel.

 

How far do they have to travel to get the Kryptonite from?
How do they even detect it?

 

hulk is definitely potentially as strong or stronger than superman and Thor is arguably on the same level, the problem isn't strength, it's speed. Superman is too fast for either of them.

 

The idea of the Hulk being on the same strength level as Superman is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. Superman would slaughter that big oaf.

 

Theoretically no one is stronger than hulk, he gets stronger the angrier he gets. Some incarnations of hulk in the comics has him doing mad feats. However at default strength levels superman is clearly stronger, I agree. It's moot though, superman is so much faster and has so many other abilities and attributes that it would be a mismatch. Thor has a better chance against superman than hulk does. Styles makes fights. ;)

 

Per DC comicbook's canon, fragments of Krypton remains have been found on Earth. Heck, even Lex Luthor regularly steals kryptonite from museums! Even Batman keeps kryptonite in his BatCave just in case he needs it. Based on that, the chances of Stark or Shield getting kryptonite is no big task.

 

It kind of is since they live on Marvel earth and not DC earth. Duh.
