That new X-man movie looks weak, you know kind of like the last several X-Men films.

Real life has always had its
burdens and struggles....but in say, the mid-1960s, we didn't have a plethora of overblown, popcorn-based, CGI-laden forgettable-trash specifically made for nerds and kids which concurrently allowed adults to ease the 'struggles'.

Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid was on the other night and I just sat and watched it - still entertaining, great-pace and excellent movie even after repeated viewings.

Cant argue with that but some movies are much too dumb to escape into...I wanted something fun and mindless last Sunday for instance so I bought Jurrasic park 4 at fopp - I just spent 90minutes groaning & swearing at the tele. Ditto the last hyper-shitty superman movie I watched (the one with russel Crowe?)

I hear you on the last superman film, all I remember from that film is the guys flying through and destroying buildings. Lol

But Jurrassic World....,man that film was fun!!! I mean yes it was dumb, I mean that girl outran a T Rex wearing high heels, and a guy on a motorcycle was cruising with his pet raptors, lol, but you have to ignore stupid stuff like that and enjoy the action and drama.

Nothing more dumb and brainless than those Transformers and Fast & Furious films. I'll never pay one cent to watch any of those films.
