DK Arum Merchant All three are roughly around the same age (84-85). Who of the three will kick the bucket first? Who goes last? I have a feeling DK is gonna die first. Just a hunch. I give it about another 2-3 years til King dies. Merchant I have a feeling will live another 3-4, and go in his late 80s. Possibly early 90s. Arum, fuckin cockroach that he is, will outlive both. I have a feeling Arum will live into his 90s before he dies.
This is the topic of a cunt. Who will die first? Honestly. Nevertheless, I'll play along. King will outlive the other two and arum will die first.
Why is it a cunt thread? It's not like I said who do you WISH dies first? Bottom line, all three of these guys are disliked by many, but all three made a significant impact on the sport's history. The two best and most iconic promoters in boxing history, and the best/most iconic color commentator in the sport's history.
This is an interesting question and also gives us important information: which will kill you first, booze, fat or continuous fighting, I say King goes first. Twenty years from now, Arum is still negotiating about his death
I feel that king will be around a long time. People with his personality type usually live long from my experience. Merchant and arum both look like they have one foot in the grave, I pick arum to go first though because he's bigger and therefore is more likely to have a heart attack
Arum "The grim reaper came to me last night. I said hold on, you sign with me for 5 years and I'll turn you into a global star. I'll have the people of Manila worshiping the angel of death. I'll make you hug..... WHAT????? WHAT THE FUCK YOU MEAN YOU'RE SIGNED TO AL HAYMON??"
King will live longest I think. He looks strongest. Arum then merchant a couple years later then king about 5 years after that
I say King because I believe he probably has less to live for than Arum. His career has gone under, and his wife of 50-years is dead. Arum still has the most powerful promotional company in the biz, and keeps himself busy. King probably misses his wife. I know he's a cold/ruthless sonuvabitch, but he likely had true love for her.
Have you ever been to the Tropic Of Cunt :dunno: I was in the Tropic of Cunt when I was Circumcising The Globe.

Kellerman would try to reason with the guy and reach a "common understanding" or some new-fangled, metrosexual equality-gay-affirmative-action type arrangement.
Merchant Goes 1st... Given their Decades Loooooooooooooong Rivalry and MUTUAL Contempt, King and Arum will Hang Around a Bit Looooonger, HOPING the Other Dies 1st...Whoever Dies 1st LOSES, In a Sense, and NEITHER of Them Wants to Give the Other the Satisfaction of That... REED:hammert:
That was my initial thinking. Arum has the look of a guy ready to kick it from a massive heart attack at any moment.
Reading this thread and didn't know it was old. My guesses are not guesses, just preferences. Merchant and Arum could have died in 1992 and I wouldn't have cared. Don can live forever and the sport is better off as long as he is around.
