I am trying to get back into boxing after a long hiatus and lack of HBO and a tv. (I finally broke down and stopped being a wannabe hippie)

Who is an up and comer I should look out for? What are some fights I should check out in the next few months? Thanks.

Easter has potential but I think he gets hit too much.

Davis is a fraud. He's complete shit.

 

Yeah he is too easy to nail. A real sucker for the cross. He is not the 2nd coming. Thorny issue.

 

Yeah he'll most likely get clocked one day. He CAN be a threat to most lightweights though cause he has above average height and skills and his power in that cross is legit.

Davis on the other hand, just screams fraud. I think Davis gets taken out first time he fights a durable guy with pop.

 

easter jr got hit some but it was a big step up vs mendez and he put the guy to sleep. he will give most lightweights problems

Helenius used to be a good boxer but he, like most Finns, is probably an alcoholic and suicidal in any case.

 

He has plenty of talent, he just doesn't like to do any training apart from weightlifting

 

Yeah I saw him a few years ago vs Peter and Chisora and it was obvious he had a bit of talent but he's not dedicated, unfortunately.
