At least after this fight, TC detractors can no longer say he hasn't fought anyone.

Postol is the 2nd best junior welter in the world. Craw's gonna kick his ass though.

His resume is on par or better than two other overly praised "killers" this board seems to love.

    Crawford via UD.

Hopefully this indeed shuts up the critics.

There will be no UD. Crawford's gonna stop Postol late. Postol's chin isn't anything special, and TC's power at 140 is very sharp and explosive. On top of that, Crawford is ARGUABLY the best finisher in the sport. When he gets guys going, he closes the show.

Good matchup. Postol is difficult and hopefully Crawford can make it entertaining because postol is also dull

Postol was able to effectively use his height and range and Matty Ice and Aydin cause those guys are short and lack real quickness.

It's gonna be harder for him to be effective considering Crawford has good height and reach, and has MUCH quicker hands than anyone Postol's faced.

Maybe GGG, but his resume is far from being as good as the one of Kovalev

you guys act like people are unfair in their criticism of tc's resume. poor tc has to face an actual contender because of all the unreasonable fans who think beating top opponent is important. now look what he is doing. taking on an actual challenge. hope you guys are happy. this is so unjust.

The only one i see derending tc resume is Musze. I think that pretty much everyone else agree that TC opposition (especially lately) has been atrocious

Verdejo has a LOOOONNGGGGGG way to go before he proves to be on TC's level.

I like him, but he's never gonna be the next Trinidad, I'm sorry. He just isn't a fraction as talented as Tito. When Tito was Verdejo's age, he was already a world champion and stopping guys like Campas and Carr.

If they fight anytime within the next few years, Crawford would slaughter Verdejo.

I agree with X. El Diamanté is very good and can be great, but he won't be on Tito's level.

Verdejo IMO can be better than Cotto, though. And with Top Rank behind him, he'll be moved along the right way and it's not like the lightweight division is full of world beaters.

    He's a future pound 4 pounder IMO.

I never liked Cotto a day in my life, and I like Verd, but the fact is - Cotto at 23 was a lot better than Verd is now.

So whether or not he can even be Cotto, let alone Tito, remains to be seen.

Make no mistake, 23 year old Cotto would beat the fuck outta current Verdejo.

Jury is still out on Verdejo as far as I'm concerned. Dulorme had hype as well until he got stopped.

    This is true.

Haven't even seen him nailed by a solid puncher as of yet.

What we DO know is, since he's always compared to Trinidad, he has good power but NOT Trinidad power.

I'm kinda disappointed that he went the distance with that Brazilian bum his last time out.

I was disappointed Verdejo didn't stop Silva as well. But I will give him the benefit of the doubt because he won every round easily, and he showed improved defense.

But it does appear that Verdejo will face Jose Felix in June. Hopefully that will answer some more questions.

TC's LEVEL...what level is that? He has one FIGHT beating chubby lil Gamboa @135....you act like "TC" has been fighting world class opponents for the last 2 years...

Doubt I'm the DRIVER of teh VERDEJO bandwagon...I'm not so sure about him myself...the Trinidad comparison are bs...if ANYTHING to me Verdejo reminds me more of a more polish Jeramaine Taylor....jab/hard/wicked/brutal right hand...NOT as stiff and robotic...

I don't know who trains him...and I always say this about many fighters...but he should really branch out with other trainers EARLY...improve his style...change it up...cause I can see it now, he's going to have problems with the iron chin mejican who goes to the body and fight inside....he's going to have problems with the darkies who move and box...VERDEJO needs to add dimensions to his style...

Be more like COTTO...FUCK PUERTO RICAN who think you are less boricua cause you leave the island to train...fuck 'em ALL....EVOLVE motehrfucka!!

So Postol has now replaced Amir Imam as the "2nd best junior welterweight in the world."

Postol is a quality fighter, but I think Craw is gonna beat him easier than some think. Postol's chin is pretty dodgy and he's no defensive wiz.

I'm pretty confident in saying Crawford will stop him.
