Spence is one of my favorite fighters and I fully expect him to SHINE here.

Much like some of the other highly rated young fighters, Spence is another who has his doubters. I suspect there will still be questions about him after this fight.

That said, I fully expect him to DOMINATE the Yuppie kid and force a ref/corner stoppage. Algieri is a tough kid, but he's gonna be in over his head similar to the Pacquiao fight only Spence won't let him off the hook once he gets him in trouble.

    Spence via late stoppage.

My original thinking on this matchup was Algieri will be game but Spence will dismantle him. Now I think Algieri could make it a stinker by constantly moving around the ring, unwilling to commit. I fully expect Spence to win though.

This is the same algieri who was seconds away from being kod in 1 round by provodnikov. I say he gets done early

True, but Provo didn't finish him off. He hit the canvas six times against Manny but still went the distance. He seems like a guy who refuses to get beat inside the distance.

Maybe this fight with Spence is a step too far against a younger, fresher, hungrier, more talented opponent and the accumulative damage he received in those fights mentioned will come to haunt him.

Spence to win in 1-6 is 4/1. To win in 1-3 is 11/1.

Spence is an actual technician, unlike that caveman Provo.

I'm gonna generous and say it takes Spence 7 rounds to methodically break him down and take him out.

I struggle to see how Algeri wins any rounds.

It's a good step up for Spence in terms of facing someone who won't be right in from of him trading leather. Algieri will most probably move a lot and aim to not give this kid time to get his shots off. Spence is going to have to be patient. I just don't see him getting Algeri out of there early, but it could happen.

Spence fights a little like Don Curry with that "wide stance" from distance. Be interesting to see how Chet Honeyghans range and movement.

Provo never finishes anyone off... If he did, he'd be practically undefeated

Pacquaio could've ended that fight if he'd pressed

    Algieri is shit

Algieri may be shit but I can actually see him being competitive with Spence early doors until Spence finds his rhythm and starts to dictate matters.

Algeri has to be given credit for his toughness and balls though. I'll bet with Neil that this goes past 3 rounds.

My official prediction is Spence TKO 6. I originally said 7, but I feel 6 is more likely.

Make NO mistake - Algeri is gonna get a brutal beating.

THese two mofos in the room is whats wrong with boxing...Browne has some skills but get wild and sloppy and is often off balance...and unless he loads up he really down't throw a punch with purpose. That shit you see from jabbers today is bullshit...instead at jabbing the opponent they jab their gloves...
