I think Vargas will come to fight but he's too open. He MAY see the final bell, just about. But, I'd bet on Brook by stoppage between 10-12.

 

In Brook's defense, he's a much better fighter than Sadam Ali.

But this is a legit fight and definitely Brook's biggest test since the Porter fight.

If Brook is a fraud, Vargas will expose that.

That's what I was thinking. Sadam Ali was supposed to annihilate Vargas who was a joke (according to the guy who also said Stiverne would easily KO Wilder, Lee would have no problem with Saunders, and Amir Imam was the second best 140 lber in the world). That didn't happen...AT ALL.

 

ali was exposed i guess. but i never thought much of him. he looked mediocre in all his fights aside from his upset of abregu. vargas is never impressive and has received multiple gifts

 

I suspect Brook will stop him late.
