Castillo vs Rosario

Both at their lightweight best. What gives?

 

Well, to be fair, at their lightweight bests, Rosario would weigh about 139-140 pounds while Castillo would weigh 150 pounds... that can change things

But, ignoring that, basically it's about how much damage Rosario does in the first half of the fight and how well Castillo can recover from it... If he can recover really well, he might be able to rally and make things interesting in the second half

 

Rosario was allergic to Mexican fighters so he could be in trouble with Castillo. However Castillo's chin was shattered to pieces by Corrales who wasn't as hard a puncher as Rosario, plus Rosario would box instead of brawl. So I pick Rosario via KO in round 5.

 

Castillo's illegal size advantage would win him the fight and a shot at Tommy Hearns

 

Castillo's size edge wouldn't be enough. His chin was very overrated, IMO.

Rosario blasts him.
