    Martinez is white.

Hispanic and white are not mutually exclusive terms.

Calzaghe is a good example. Lomachenko. Willie Pep. De la Hoya ( yeah, that's right, motherfucker is white).

    Glad you mentioned Hatton.

Listening to some people here, you'd think all he did was hump people and rabbit punch. The young Hatton threw 80 punches a round and used a very effective scissor-step to cut the ring off. A 5'6" stubby guy going up to 147 was basically giving his opponents every physical advantage. And as he aged, you've got to figure all those late nights passed out in the boozer really took their toll on him.

Litzau's Chin SUCKED, but in Terms of SHEER Prizefighting AFFleticism, He's on the White Guy Mount Rushmore...Wouldn't Surprise REED @ All if Litzau BULLSHITTED his Way Thru Training Camps, OVERLY Relying on his Natural Talents...

GIFTED Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay Beyond What he Actually ACCOMPLISHED in Boxing...

Hatton's AFFleticism was OBVIOUS...GREAT Footwork, Particularly for a PRESSURE Fighter...Respectable Handspeed, on a World Class Level...Overall FLUIDITY and COORDINATION to his Movements...

I think Hatton's foot speed was his best asset. Normally shorter fighters are going to have big difficulty against anybody with a good jab. Ricky was able to close the distance remarkably quick to get on the inside. Even Floyd Mayweather had trouble with it in the first half of their fight.

I was going to mention Hatton but felt it would degenerate into the usual crap.

    He had brilliant, world-class feet.

Hatton is the guy people should bring up when trying to distinguish between "FAST" feet {Khan} and proper footwork......

In Fairness, Sexual White Chocolate Could BALL...& REED Ain't just Saying That Because his Favorite Player Ever, Chris Webber, STILL Speaks GLOWINGLY of His Time w/White Chocolate, Either...In Fact, REED Simply Calls the White Dude "Chocolate", No Bullshit:lol:...

REED Can't Recall Chocolate EVER Being Exposed as an Inferior Player or Anything...J-Will Was just a WILD Horse that COULDN'T Be Tamed...An "Uncoachable" WHITE Player, Which is Admittedly RARE...

J-Will was a FLASHIER Steph Curry (In Terms of Ballhandling and Passing), who DIDN'T Shoot Near as Well...

    Exactly...

One Facet of Footwork is MOVING Well in Circles, Side to Side, etc...Another Facet is CLOSING Distance, as You Stated...Hatton Did Both VERY Well and Considering his Ol' Man was a Professional Soccer Player (if REED's Not Mistaken), that's Not the Least Bit Surprising...

Even the Ability to LEAP IN w/Shots, Which Lead to KO Losses to Floyd and Pac, are Examples of AFFletic FOOTWORK...

The HEIGHT of REED's Boxing Writing Coincided w/Terdsak's Title Shot, on an American Televised PPV that REED Can't Recall...Might Have Been Pac-Marquez II or III, REED Ain't Sure...

Terdsak's Loss AFFECTED REED, Dramatically...There were Soooooo Many CREATIVE Writing Avenues, with a Champion Named "Terdsak"...REED LOST Some of His PASSION for Writing, That Night...

Titsworth was a CLASSIC Name, Toooooo Bad he SUCKED...
