So it's very clear that no junior welter in the world can beat TC. And most of us feel like Loma is too small. So that leaves, the three best welters: How would Crawford do against Thurman, Brook, and Spence?

Notice, I'm not even bothering to mention Danny Gift. Garcia would be lucky to win a round against Crawford.

Not sure how he'd do vs those three. Definitely think pacquiao is still among the top 3 welters

Well if he fights Manny, supposedly it's gonna be at 140.

Personally, I think Spence beats him. Call me a groupie for being so high on Spence, but I think he has the power, speed, and skill to negate what Crawford does well.

Thurman is a tough one. Crawford is DEFINITELY, WITHOUT QUESTION a more skilled and talented fighter than Thurman. BUT... Thurman's athleticism, power, and quickness could prove very problematic for TC.

Did he said he is moving up? If not by the time he does, probably none of those three will be around.

Is Thurman that big a hitter? I've only ever considered him a "solid" puncher, not much more.

He'd be the biggest hitter Crawford has faced, by far.

He's also not a robotic slow poke like Postol.

He's pretty flawed though. Could I envision Crawford taking Thurman apart? Yes.

I think Thurman is a very big puncher, but I suppose it's easy enough to argue against that. Just seen him wreck too many guys on the way up.

    There's different levels of punchers.

Thurman might have looked like a Trinidad-level puncher wrecking bums on the way up, but it's clear now he doesn't have that level of power.

    He has "good" power.

He'd still be the biggest puncher Crawford has faced though, by a lot.

Would love to see Crawford at 147 get in that mix.

I'd favor him over Garcia and Porter for sure. I give him a slight advantage over Thurman.

I think he loses to Spence and Brook, though.

Brook would knock Crawford the fuck out. Crawford got rocked at lightweight by a featherweight and hasn't been hit by a real puncher at these weights.

I feel like unless Crawford could hurt Spence, that The Truth would walk him do serious damage to him.

Id pick all three big over Crawford. He would try that running around bullshit against them (since he does that agaisnt every punchers/threats that is not a midget), but they all have the speed and agility to catch up to him.

maybe, but Porter is not winning fights with skills. He's winning them with strenght, grit and toughness. He's a far better fighter than anyone Crawford fought.

Sayin Crawford is more skilled than Porter is like saying Byrd is faster than Foreman. True but meaningless.

Brook is big and his right hand is sharp. He'd either blast Crawford out or catch him after looking bad.

Crawford hasn't done anything at 140.

Let's see how Mikey Garcia looks in his comeback fight. If he comes back at the level he was, that makes for an excellent matchup against Crawford and it's at jr welterweight.

Lol, fuck no he wouldn't. At the very best he would run around the ring and wins a dec, but my money is on Porter to bully him and wins a dec.

I don't think TC was that impressive agaunst Postol. I don't tate Postol, I think even AB would whoop him.

Oh, I didn't know he was promoted by Arum, just that he was having the managerial/promotional issues. Any idea what the problem was?

Would beating one of Arum's top dogs be an incentive for Garcia to fight Crawford?

I was talking about AB against Postol. But even against Crawford, AB is a live dog. The guys who beat AB were much more solid than the guys Crawford fought, and AB would look as solid as Crasford beating the likes of dierry jean and postol

Its actually the opposite. If the guy wasnt such a cunt, he would be rated much higher. Guy is not elite but hes near that level, and he always easily outclass solid guys

I don't think he's near that level to be honest. He was scraping decisions really early in his career, was losing rounds to Gavin bloody Rees of all people before size made the difference, took a razor thin decision over Paulie (who anybody world class usually handles pretty comfortably), and I haven't even got into his losses yet. If he wasn't such a cunt he would have been off our TV's a long time ago.
