In a battle of two second rate guys who'd get fucked by Valdez and Loma.

Who wins? I think the Irishman is too basic to beat Santa Slow, and will get worked over. Santa Cruz won't freeze up the way Quigg did.

    SC by UD.

I'm rooting for Frampton though. Fuck that goofy looking SC.

Heart says Frampton, head says SC.

Frampton is just a touch too mechanical and a touch too underpowered.

If he had a really really big punch, I would back him.

Instead he's just an above-average fighter with a decent dig.

I think Santa Cruz will be too strong.

But I'm rooting for Frampton to pull it off.

He's too strong for Peter Frampton's son.

I don't think Quigg really froze, he was just really slow while Frampton was fast and he had to get through the early rounds.

I think Frampton will have success early but SC's not as slow or wide as Quigg and Frampton burns himself out.

I'll buck the trend and pick Frampton. I don't think he's especially good, and Quigg was abysmal against him, but Santa Cruz is unbelievably average and maybe Frampton is able to make him look as slow and sluggish as he is. If Frampton gets stopped I'll be 0% surprised, but maybe he is just quick enough to eck out a tight decision win.

Santa Cruz wins this easily. I know its the hip thing to hate him, but he's a fairly good fighter

I think they are both excellent with Santa Cruz being more proven and probably a little better. 8-4 SC.

Tough fight. I favour LSC but Frampton can do this. He's got to keep Santa Cruz guessing and moving. Like others have said, Frampton lacks a big punch to get the job done inside 12. If anyone's going to win in the distance, it's Santa Cruz.

Quigg hardly threw a punch over the first half of the fight. It looked like, and seemed like, to me, that he did freeze. He started to grow in confidence going in to the second half of the fight.

This. Why the hate for Santa Cruz?

I'm looking forward to this one.

I didn't know SC was 'hated', to be honest. Is he even well-known enough to be hated?

Looks to me like the card starts at 2pm - my TV lists the fight on boxnation as running between 2-7am. Bastards.

If it's in Vegas, you would be as well off going to bed now and getting up at 5AM.

Easier said than done with a 2-week old kid. I'm on the 12-4 night shift - was hoping I might be able to watch the fight to induce me to stay wake.

    Frampton 125. 25lbs :scratcher: :dunno:

Bunce just told Steve Lillis to "hold back on the tactics, Steve, we got hours and hours to go".

    So 4-5 AM I reckon.

    LSC looks longer, rangier, happier.
