Is it Just REED or Did Adonis Stevenson's Physique Look SOFTER In this Bout than @ Any Other Time in Recent Memory??... Dude Has NOfuckingCONCERN for his Legacy, He's Simply Looking for the EASIEST Path to Money...@ This Point, REED Rates Jean Pascal HIGHER than Stevenson, Because @ Least Pascal Had the FORTITUDE to Face Sergey Kovalev... REED:hammert:<strike></strike>
Yeah, Stevenson is the one who made Duva refuse to go to a purse bid. But then, at this point, it is uselles to point out facts, since people already made out theur minds about the situation, and they'll never change it even if it was shown numerous times that it is not true.
The PATH Stevenson has Chosen, in Terms of Opposition Since Signing w/Haymon, Speaks LOUDER than Anything Adonis Can Say @ This Point... Stevenson NEVER Wanted to Fight Sergey Kovalev, Dude...Period... Contrary to Popular Belief, Al Haymon NEVER Forces his Fighters into TOUGH Bouts...To Date, He's Given them the Freedom to Be as AMBITIOUS as They Want to Be, in Terms of WHO they Fight and WHEN...On that Note, Stevenson's CLEARLY Taken the Path of LEAST Resistance... REED:hammert:
I agree that Stevenson opposition lately has been crappy, and that it shows a lack of ambition on his part. ANd htat on the contrary, Kovalev has fought much better opposition in the last 2 years, and shown that he dares to be great. Still doesnt change the fact that it is idiotic to say Stevenson ducked Kovalev, since he's not the one that refuse to go to a purse bid for an unification fight, Kovalev is. It is also idiotic to claim that Stevenson ducked Kovalev because he signed with Haymon, since Haymon was giving him a much better contract than what HBO was willing to give him.
This fight was a war. Like him or not Stevenson is clearly one of the most exciting fighter in boxing presently. It is a fucking shame that he and Kovalev wont ever fight, since it would be a bombs away war.
The guys an unreformed Haitian pimp. Why did people think he would try hard and endeavour to succeed :dunno:
Stevenson made so much more money signing with Haymon it seems childish to say he was ducking. And there aren't a lot of huge names at 175 outside of Kovalev.
Those commentators are really trying to be replica the shitty UFC commentating "THAT COULD B E IT!!" "IT IS OOVVERR!"..
I can't keep track of what fighter is promoted by whom and which matchups are possible and which aren't. Is there a better chance of seeing Ward-Kov or Ward-Stevenson?
Agreed 100%, Not only was it a purse bid, but a 50-50 split, pretty much the only time I can recall any sanctioning body ordering one, especially surprising considering Kovalev was champ from another org. Still, at the end of the day, if Kovalev beats Ward, Stevenson gonna look like a real paper champ. At least there's Beterbiev and Alvarez (the later looks far less interesting though) who should provide ''Superman'', (who whether you like him or not, always makes for must see tv) with some challenges.
This fight showed once again that Stevenson is a very good, if not excellent, fighter. Sad that he doesn't seem more keen on testing himself.
No idea but he should be right in it. I would like to see him at 168, fucking Chunky up. Did you know that Tim Flowers, the former Southampton, England and Blackburn keeper once kicked DeGale in the teeth :dunno:
