Bundu went 12 with Thurman after getting knocked down in the first. He lost every round but didn't look like he was going to get stopped. Spence has 3 inches on him, hits harder than Thurman and will probably look two divisions bigger.

Is this a good fight for Spence or shouldn't he be fighting 41 year olds?

Coming Off the Algieri Beat Down, Bundu's a Solid Opponent...

Thurman and Porter Just Fought, Garcia's Facing Berto and Brook is Facing GGG...Of the Available Foes, Bundu's NOT a Bad Option...Plus, it's a Chance to Make a DIRECT Comparison to How Keith Thurman Fared...

If that WERE the Case, "Stories" of This Would've Trickled Down to the Camps of Thurman, Porter, Garcia, etc., By NOW, Wouldn't You Think???...

Granted, Spence has Never Sparred in 8oz. Gloves, but he HAS Sparred w/Small Heavyweights, Countless Super middles and Jr. Middles...He NEVER Spars Guys his OWN Size...And While REED Ain't @ EVERY Single Session, he's Watched Spence Spar Well OVER 100 Rounds, Against All Shapes and Sizes...

REED's Never Seen him On the Canvas or Staggered...And on the Occasion Where he MAY have Been Buzzed, Spence Simply Disengaged/Held/Moved Until his Head Cleared...

If Oscar, a fighter of Oscars undoubted "power" and "Influence" couldn't keep the James Paige story quiet, then anything similar happening to Spence, a far less "Powerful" fighter, would certainly make its way down the grapevine.

I'm not the biggest Spence fan but I posted months ago, this is not a chosen opponent. This is an IBF eliminator ordered by the IBF. It was supposed to be Spence vs. the 30-0 Russian Konstantin but the Russian has a hand injury so the IBF ordered this fight with the winner to face Kell Brook (if Brook returns to 147.)

I never believed the James Page story of knocking down Oscar... I think that was his attempt for publicity.

Chris Algieri was SUPPOSED to be a "Step Up", SUPPOSED to "Test" Spence, Remember???...Or is that Bout Now a Casualty of Hindsight Revisionism???...

Look, Spence Certainly Can't REST on Shit Kicking a Guy that Went the Distance w/Pacquiao and Gave Amir Khan ALL he Could Handle, but the MANNER of Victory was Definitely Noteworthy, in What was Undeniably a "SHOW ME" Fight for Spence...

More Importantly, Thurman and Porter JUST Fought, Garcia's Fighting Berto and Brook's Cashing Out vs. Triple G...Given That, Bundu's a DECENT Enough Opponent, in REED's Opinion...WHO Exactly is he Supposed to Fight Instead???...

Agreed.........there is the best opponent, and the best available opponent.

Danny Garcia is getting a fucking free ride despite being borderline shot.

Neither one would see the distance, but Thurman is definitely a more dangerous matchup.

Spence-Garcia is a one sided slaughter.

Spence would have a great chance at cleaning house at 154 lbs too.

You're right. It'll be interesting to see if he can handle Thurman's pop.

We know enough about Thurman's chin to know that he WON'T handle too much of Spence's power.

You Keep Putting That Out There, but It's NOT Like Team Spence is AVOIDING Guys Who Can Punch, Homey...EVERY Welterweight Worth a Damn Has Been Offered a Fight w/Spence, Yet NONE of Them Are Taking the Bait...

Especially not that dodging bitch Cherry Garcia.

Cherry is STILL living off the Matthysse win, which was what? Like 75 years ago now?
