If Brook isn't permanently damaged, it's a good test for Spence. Brook is fast, has a good jab, and a powerful right hand.

I still take Spence to win. He's just better. But his chin will get checked and we'll learn more about him.

Brook isn't necessarily 'scared' of these foes. He just knows he will lose against these foes, so he will choose not to fight them. GGG was an easy, albeit certainly doomed, 'risk' to take in that regard. An easily explainable defeat, with his team waiting in the wings to call a halt before it got too messy, and a shitload of cash banked.

Losing to Golovkin meant nothing, he even gained from "being competitive" for a handful of rounds...losing to Spence at his own weight would be a lot more damaging, and that fight will not happen, v skeptical

none of these other guys are keen to face Golovkin, for career high paydays. brook got his face broken. spence is not a big money fight for him either, so the risk vs reward dicates hearn probably wont let it happen. if it were up to brook i see no reason he wouldnt take the fight.
