J-Rock will win this via clear UD. He'll drop Charlo at least once en route to the decision.

Interesting take on the fight!. Usually you only have to stop your opponent once to win the fight

    WOW!!!...

Quite a Performance by Charlo...THE Performance of the Night, In Fact, on a Night w/a Few STELLAR Outings...

Tooooo BIG, Tooooo STRONG and Tooooo POWERFUL for Julian Williams...Dropped Him w/a LISTONesque Jab, Early...Face Planted Williams w/a SUPERB Uppercut, and Finished Him Off Shortly Thereafter...Stayed in the Pocket and TOOK Pull Counters and Left Hooks from Williams Tooo, w/Out Flinching...

This was a HIGH Risk, LOW Reward Bout for Charlo, and he SHINED...He Gambled On Himself and WON...

REED's Known of the Charlo Brothers for Close to 10 Years...Respected Them, but was Never WOW'ed...Until Last Night...They Seem to Have that Danny Garcia Way of Fighting to the Level of their Opponent...The Better the Opponent, the BETTER they Seem to Fight....

seemed like williams could not hurt charlo at all.

i guess given the politics of today, it is rare for a fight like this to happen. but consider this. nobody really knows who the fuck charlo is. as far as most are concerned, canelo is the champ at 154. fighting bundrage simply was not going to get charlo the acclaim he seeks. the fact nearly everyone picked williams to win is proof that charlo was in need of a victory like this.

and besides, what the hell is wrong with boxing when a fighter is heralded as some kind of hero for doing what all fighters are supposed to do - fight top contenders.

anyway, good victory. would love to see charlo get a shot at canelo or ggg.

Sadly, That HASN'T Been the Norm for Quite a Few Years Now, in Boxing...REED Appreciated Paulie Malignaggi Pointing that Out During the Telecast...

Charlo AND Williams Deserve Credit for Taking the Fight...2 Young, Undefeated Guys Risking it All...Best Matchup of the Night and Charlo ENHANCED His Status within the Sport...

Williams' Stock SHOULDN'T Diminish Tooooo Much Either...He Brought a Knife to a Gunfight, but Went Out On his Shield, Admirably...

Better to Be Julian Williams than Nicholas Walters...

Don't hold your breath on CanYellow fighting Charlo. Charlo isn't a bum like Smith, undersized/fragile like Khan, or faded like Cotto.

Last time CanYellow fought a junior middle who was his size and in his prime, he arguably lost.

I wouldn't say Williams stock doesn't drop at all. His stock took a hit. He's still a contender, and I'm still a fan, but one question he had to answer last night was about his chin.... he didn't past the test.

But no, he didn't SHAME himself like Dickless Walters. He just got drilled by a better fighter.

Nor Did REED Say Williams Stock Wouldn't Drop @ All..."Shouldn't Drop Toooooo Much"...

1 Confidence Builder, Then Jump Right BACK Into the Mix @ '54...

Charlo CAN Punch and was Clearly the BIGGER Man Last Night, So REED'll Give J-Rock Another Couple Fights Before DEFINITIVELY Questioning his Chin...

Didn't make a prediction because I like both of these guys and think they're both very solid. Luckily, got to watch it without knowing who won. High level stuff. It reminds me of some of those quality welterweight fights of the late 80's, early 90's with Curry, Starling, and Breland.

Charlo makes himself a guy to keep track of after this fight.

I missed your bold prediction, like with every fight. You only seem to put your 2 cents in on fights that never actually happen.
