No, this is not a Mythical Matchup...I'm talking about right now as there's talk of potentially making this fight.

    I'd be interested.

Apparently Pacquiao is willing to fight @ 140. Not just against Lomachenko but others. While he might be able to make 135, most of his training camp would probably be concentrated on doing just that which is never good for a fighter. You need to be focused more on your opponent than a scale. I'd favor Loma.

I think Lomachenko beats the shit out of him, and I say that as a Pacquiao fan.

Right now today at 135....Loma will WIN....Pacquiao is a midget at 147...but even he can't be going UP and DOWN in weight from fight to fight...he hasn't come in at 135 in how many years?

Loma vs Gamboa would have been a compelling fight back in Gamboa's prime. It's not very compelling anymore.

Loma vs Garcia is a fight to see.

I really wish Pacquiao would retire and leave the game to the young ones. It already felt wrong to me when he took that one young guns belt.

Pacquiao is THE MAN. I never get tired of seeing him fight. All time great fighter. I'll be sad when he's gone.

IF Pacquiao can still make 135lbs without sapping his strength I'd pick him to beat Lomachenko....but it'll be an interesting fight.

Did you see his documentary? It's pretty good, it was cool going back rewatching his rise to the top, as it brought back a lot of memories and it really made you realize what a great fighter Pacquiao was/is.

Most people don't yet realize how great he is, because he's still fighting. Years after he's retired though people will look back and marvel at the achievements of this little man.

People will also look back and remember that your hero ducked him at his peak and intentionally waited til he was faded to fight him.

Pacquiao is obviously an all-time great fighter, nobody denies that, but Loma tears him up if they fight now.

Any idea what Pacq walks around at? Get him off of the juice and he might make 135 comfortably. The veiny, low body fat guy who showed up for most of his 147 lb fights isn't making 135, though.

Lomachenko MIGHT "Tear Up" a Weight Drained Pacquiao @ '35, but Not @ 140...

REED Knows You're a BIG Lomachenko Fan, But Let's PUMP the Brakes a Bit, Bro...He's NEVER Fought Anyone NEAR as Dynamic or Powerful as Pacquaio...Not Even By the Standards of TODAY's Version of Pac...

And Being Honest, Unless it's @ '35 (a Weight Manny Hasn't Fought @ In Damn Near a DECADE), REED Can't See a Guy Lomachenko's Size MOVING UP to Beat Pac...Maybe In Another Year or So, but NOT Today...

To Put it in Perspective, are You CERTAIN Lomachenko Even Beats Tim Bradley or Jessie Vargas???...

I actually think Pacquiao, whilst obviously not the force of old, is still a very useful fighter. Lomachenko is far too much for him at this point though.

REED's Seen just about ALL of Lomachenko's Bouts and CANNOT Fathom How Anyone Would Reach this Conclusion, In Regards to Lomachenko vs. Pacquiao...

Lomachenko wouldn't have a "southpaw advantage" over Pacquiao for one thing. Pacquiao would have advantages in power, handspeed and AT LEAST match him for stamina. Stylewise I don't know how anyone could pick Lomachenko over Pacquiao....unless Pacquiao is shot or else severely weight drained.

    Agreed a 100%

Only way Loma wins is if Pac is weight drained. SOme are really letting the HBO hype cloud their minds

One of the reasons Marquez was able to enjoy so much success against Pacquiao was his ability to consistently establish lead foot advantage. Pacquiao is older now and would be fighting the guy with the best footwork in the game. In all honesty I think Lomachenko completely befuddles him. I hope the fight happens so I can be proven right.
