Rather retire than give Kov a rematch.

Oh well, if he retires now, he's definitely a HOFmer, but it hurts his legacy. He'll never have avenged what most people will remember as his only career LOSS.

look if you and kovalev cant understand that ward WON and is now in the DRIVERS seat as the CHAMP when it comes to negotiations, then you dont know shit about boxing.

if this clears the way for kovalev vs stevenson or beterbiev then im all for it

I understand perfectly that the judges awarded Ward the victory.

I've given up hope on Kov-Stevenson ever happening. And I don't think Kov-Beterbiev is happening anytime soon. Beterbiev's team isn't gonna throw him from fighting corpses to fighting Kov. Stevenson-Beterbiev seems like a more likely matchup.

Kov-Smith.... THAT matchup I can see materializing.

What's this got to do with Carl Frampton?

Don't get where you're coming from, but I hope you aren't referring to Frampton-SC.

    Frampton clearly beat Slowa Cruz.

Ward deep down knows he lost.

He's in no driver's seat, BTW. His attempts to control the terms are his way of playing around so a rematch doesn't happen.

He's definitely a HOFamer for his reign at 168 lbs alone, plus the gift win over Kovalev.

But I couldn't care any less if he's gone.

Both fights were close but I thought S.C. won that by two rounds. Though the rounds were close. Nothing clear about it.

Frampton-SC was basically the same fight as Thurman-Porter. I had both Frampton and Thurman winning those fights 8-4.

SC, like Porter, put up a good competitive fight with their aggression, but Frampton and Thurman landed by far the more effective/clean punches throughout.

It should be noted that the judges in those fights had closer cards. They were both 7-5 fights not 8-4. I didn't think Frampton did enough to take the belt.

claiming that Frampton-SC was a clear cut fight is absurd. Could have gone either way, and I had it personally for SC.
