As for Angel, where's Alton Merkerson when you need him? He'd have dropped bitch ass Angel just like he did Stoney.

Thurman and the Garcia's can do all the talking they want... they ALLLL got what's coming to them once they fight the soft spoken lad from Dallas.

Spence and Brook would both beat Garcia and Thurman IMO.

As for this fight, I think Garcia will take it. I just see Thurman walking into a lot of counter left hooks with the way he throws his right hand.

But it is a 50-50 fight going in.

I'm still undecided of who my final pick is gonna be, but by fight week, I have a feeling that I'm gonna end up picking Garcia.

Neither Fighter is "Special", but Thurman's CLOSER to it than Garcia Is...Therefore, REED's Picking Thurman by UD....

It's a shame because Danny seems like a nice guy but his dad is the biggest bitch in boxing. And his dad is a total bitch. Dude was scared of Robert Guerrero's dad when he saw that guy actually did want to throw down.

I really don't favor one over the other but because of Angel, I hope Thurman knocks him out early.

I dont think that matters. That word is part of Garcia's vocab.

Garcia's dad has a purpose. Like most trash talkers, it's to get in the fighter's head. It's worked well for garcia as usually these fighters are emotionally invested. McGregor does stuff very similar.

That's one way to look at it but I don't agree. His dad is a wannabe tough guy living vicariously through his son. He was most likely some punk who got slapped around everywhere he went and now he finally gets to stand up and act like a badass. Because he doesn't have to fight. Get inside the other guy's head? I've seen him act like that in about a dozen interviews when the other fighter wasn't even there. The reporter asks about the other guy or asks about Danny's chances of winning and this dickhead starts foaming at the mouth and going ballistic. Total spaz/wannabe living through someone else.

The only time he acted sane was when Ruben Guerrero was around because he knew that dude really is crazy and wanted to throw hands with him badly.

It's NOT Nearly as Premeditated in Angel Garcia's Case, as it is in McGregor's...

Angel Really IS a Shit Talker, Whereas McGregor's Actually a RESPECTFUL Dude, Away from it All...If Danny was a Regular Guy, Angel Would STILL Be Somewhere, Talking Shit, just Not for the Boxing World to See...

Thurman looked a bit heavy to me in that press conference. Garcia on the other hand looks to be around the 155-160 range.

Garcia better go to the body. And I think he will.

    THIS...

It's WHO Angel Garcia Is, More than Any MENTAL Warfare he's Attempting...

He was Also Fairly Subdued w/Zab Judah's Camp, @ Some Public Outing, Prior to their Bout...Then, as Judah's Camp was Walking Off, Angel Slammed a Table and Started Talking Shit...

A "Tough Guy" of CONVENIENCE, who's Milking his 15 Minutes of Fame, While his Son Still Has his "0"...No More, No Less...

Make no mistake, my MIND says Thurman. He's bigger, faster, and seems to have more firepower and ability at 147.

But my gut says Garcia will expose the holes in Thurman's defense and durability.

Technically speaking, I'm pretty sure he's half n half.... meaning that I think his dad is black and his mom white.

In the eyes of both white America and black America, he's just black. Same with other half breeds, like Ward, J.Cole, and Obama.

At first glance, I would think Thurman was half black/half Rican.

I'm surprised so many here see this as a 50-50 fight. While it is intriguing in that you have two undefeated guys going at it...I think Thurman wins this easily. Clear UD.
