WTF are these guys? How come a HBO card was highlighted by these no names? I know they try to find and build up an opponent for Loma, but damn, this is sad. At least it seems the fights were fun
In HBO's Defense, it was a 'Boxing After Dark' Show, Which They've ALWAYS Used to Showcase Up and Comers, Lower Weight Classes, etc... And Yes, the Fights were Entertaining... REED:mj:
Last Night is an Example of Boxing Getting in it's OWN Way... Instead of Both Networks Showing Bouts the SAME Fucking Night, Why Not Broadcast Them on DIFFERENT Weekends, so Everybody Can Watch BOTH Cards Live???... REED:baa:<strike></strike>
Great card and fuck you dorks for talking shit about it. Cards like these do a lot more for boxing than make believe celebrities like Jack and Santa Cruz distance slapping each other.
yeah, the Jack fight was such a slap fest :: Fights like this are great as undercard bouts. As it is, nobody saw them cause nobody had any incentives to tune in
any way you slice it, showtime is now the number 1 boxing network. if you didn't have hbo, what would you miss? any good fights they decide to show are on ppv, and even a lot of those blow. granted, last night's card turned out to be entertaining. but it was espn level stuff. let's face it.
Boxing snobbery doesn't work when the "top" guys are so average and uncompelling. You guys sound like the kids on other forums fanboying networks and bitching. Very good card and for all this talk of levels and fnf I wouldn't be surprised to see LSC lose to Miura or Berchan.
Depends on the Fighter's, Honestly... HBO Has Lomachenko, and Last Night was CLEARLY about Showcasing Viable Opponents for Him...HBO Also Has Golovkin and Kovalev, Exclusively... Yes, Showtime has Put On BETTER Fights/Cards, Recently, but REED Ain't Sure he'd Say EITHER Network is BETTER than the Other, Overall, in Regards to Giving Boxing Fans What they Want... REED:hammert:
