Watched it once and me & our guests were bored to death. Bad choice for a 'movie night' get together.:nono:

Your taste in movies is horrible. Bored by a great movie like A Simple Plan, yet enthralled by a movie like Avatar with bright shiney objects and a script sounding like it was written by a 7th grader.

You won't disappointed. Disregard that Avatar cheerleader's post. It's a brilliant movie with great acting from both Bill Paxton and Billy Bob Thornton. Great character development in general, and a great twist at the end. Very suspenseful and well made movie.

Basically, the complete OPPOSITE of Avatar.

It's a great movie. There's a kind of similar movie called One False Move, also starring Bill Paxton, another good neo noir.

Yes, the Carl Franklin movie. I'd probably even rate it above "A Simple Plan", which is a damn good movie itself.

Paxton has a sneaky good resume to his credit.

Yeah. This movie is great. Both the Thornton and Paxton characters are very interesting. Fonda is good too.

I too have not seen one False Move, but there is a British movie (I think - forget the name) with a similar plot as A Simple Plan, which was pretty good also.

Not as good as the other Paxton/Thornton thriller from '92:

Gotta see one false move. Never even heard of it.

Still, it shouldn't detract from the appreciation simple plan deserves.

I don't need to 'understand' good movies: I just need to be 'entertained' by them. Otherwise they will be pretentious bores

I watched One False Move last night. Good movie, but certainly not the great movie yall were hyping it to be.

A Simple Plan is much better imo.
