    I think Foreman vs Moorer comes to mind but it was before my time.

    It's like the only way Foreman could win was by KO and that simply wasn't going to happen.

    I can actually think of far more fights that were expected to end in KO but went the distance :lol:

    I was being sarcastic.

    Anyway, it's not a shock/brutal KO, but I was surprised when Ward stopped Dawson. That seemed like a fight guaranteed to go 12.

    that one wasnt as shocking in hindsight after the information came out that dawson was KO'd in the gym by edison miranda less than a month before the fight

    While this Wasn't a "Big" Fight in Terms of Mainstream Attention, it's Hard to APPRECIATE Just How Meaningful it was in Hardcore Boxing Circles...

    Another good example. I didn't see that one coming AT ALL. Most shocked I have ever been in my entire history of following the sport.
