Floyd runs. A lot. My first thought is that he does enough with that superior mobility to edge a decision but Arguello ain't no diego corrales and at times floyd is gonna get hit as hard and clean as he ever did in his career
That'd be by first guess but the scores would be closer than sly imagines. Floyd would get hit and hurt and there would be some shifts in momentum based on that
How much does Mayweather get for this fight? If its anywhere between US$30-40 million, Floyd wins so easily...and is still the all-time ´King of Boxers´...
TBH...I see Floyd jabbing Arguello to the pit of his stomach, constantly, as the long thin torso of the explosive thin man would be an appealing target. I also see a plethora of "Pull counters" whenever Arguello jabs. Arguello would certainly get his own licks in though and win a few rounds; Arguello was a beautifully accurate puncher...but ultimately Floyd wins a UD by scores of 8-4 or 9-3. Over 15 I wouldn't be surprised to see Floyd stop him.
Mayweather by decision in a fight where he takes a handful of punches that are among the best he's ever taken and runs and holds a lot, still scoring effectively with his jab At 130, it's a classic matchup ... Closer and Mayweather experiences real trouble but he also scores plenty of his own and I think his speed just drives Alexis nuts, Mayweather still wins but does so admirably
Lmao at Floyd stopping Arguello, especially at 140 where he stopped who? Punching bag Gatti? (whom 140 Arguello would've hospitalized)
It'll be like Drago vs Rocky Balboa; Arguello will knock him down numerous times and completely dominate him but at the end of the day Gatti will take his heart! Jokes
